    For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself.Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.

    Perfect! What an excellent video. Fixed my problem immediately and fast. Elements of a great demo video:
    1. To the point.
    2. No music, thank you!!!
    3. Showed the process clearly in pictures.
    4. Soothing voice, just enough being said.
    5. Covered all points of the string loading with actual demo.
    6. Short.
    Thank you! 👍👍👍

    I’ve been using weed trimmers for 35 years…yours is the first tutorial that I saw a simultaneous winding of both strings…that is a wonderful tip that worked great on the Dewalt spool. I’m really impressed with the Dewalt Battery Trimmer. For the price, I hope it last. 😁👍

Thanks !! 🎉

  • @TruthWillSetYouFree832
    @TruthWillSetYouFree832 2 роки тому +3

    Got it loaded this way but the line got wrapped around the trimmer during use. Cut the line shorter like it should be, tried it, and it wrapped around again. I trimmed and used it a bit and lost one side of the line as it somehow retreated back into the spool while the other remained outside of it.
    Will have to try this again. The original line that remained on the spool when I opened it (less than a foot) was started by a bent end being placed inside each hole at the center of the spool using two lines, so I don't know if this just won't work as a method during actual use or I need to use less line. I ended up with about 28 feet. It was a tangled, spiraled mess getting on.
    Just telling the truth here that it's more of a hassle loading this trimmer than it appears on the video if you're working with brand new line that's been wound in the packaging for a while. Like trying to work with a 28-foot Slinky folded in half.

    Thank you for this. You made it look so easy even with one hand. I'll be putting in new line on mine soon and this video gives me an idea of what to expect. I'll be using two hands though the first time :).
