Haha that works too! Saves on the wear and tear on the drills and saves the battery.
What model number is your Milwaukee drill that you use on your ice auger ?
I bought the set up with the charger and battery, so it’s the 2804-22. If you buy the drill only, it’s the 2803-20. Hope this helps.

Thanks I have been looking for a new auger set up and I need a more powerful drill than the one that I have. Do you feel your drill has enough power ?
@@garykarnes6514 yes, it definitely has plenty of power. I've had this same drill set up for 4 seasons now. Treat it well, and it'll last a long time. Thickest ice I've drilled through is 26" a couple seasons ago. I use the Strikemaster Lite Flite 8", also on its 4th season, and only changed the blades once.
@@garykarnes6514 go get the new milwaukee 2904, battery also play a big factor the bigger the battery the more powerful, i use the high output 6.0 with lite flite, cut like butter
