Excellent explanation Dr. Pande. I was at Medica on the 7th , just 2 days ago, with an appointment with dr. Soubhik R. Chawdhury.. where one patient, requiring some..cardiac management was sughested by the bill-desk- staff (kouschik ,) to meet you ..
I am hypertensive since 1999 ..(.presently 47 yrs old) BP used to go.up to 150 /100 , though now in control .( previously selokein xl +ranogex + cesar CT 40) now on Tezloc 25 , doiter 5 ) LDL not too high, TG got upto 325. As per .last investigation 160 , trying my best.. ( never drank or smoked in life ) no pain..but having 3 risk factors 1. Father died of MI ,2. high BP 3 weigjt -problem.
Should I go for Angiography ? ( I cannot endure pain..) meeting you this february or March ..

As per CT angiography,
1) Mixed plaque seen in distal LMA extending into LAD causing less than 50% luminal narrowing.
2)mixed plaques in proximal LAD causing 70-80 % focal stenosis.multiple eccentric calcified plaques in rest of LAD causing max narrowing of 40 %.
3) tiny eccentric speck of calcification seen in proximal CX artery.early OM1 noted showing few eccentric calcified plaques with no significant luminal narrowing..
4) few eccentric calcified plaques are seen in proximal RCA with less than 50% stenosis..
Patient 57 years old,has high blood pressure and calcium score of 700 with family history of heart disease.. Patient is only having slight chest pressure after 5 min of brisk walking and mild uneasy feeling in back some times..
What is the proper intervention sir between angioplasty and bypass surgery sir??if angioplasty is possible then How many stents could be required sir ???? Please guide...
