None of the ex Soviet republics got their independence from Russia around the 1990-ish. It was from USSR. Russia also got its independence from USSR around the same time.
And it's not Maldova but Moldova with an " o".
Kazakhstan got its independence from the UK???? Is this some kind of joke?
