I have so much respect for your gift and craft as a musician. You give your heart and soul to every song. Your voice is unmatched! When you open your mouth I listen. Silk is a phenomenal group! I think all the guys bring their own flavor to the group which makes Silk special. Glad to see you guys still doing your thing.
Your the heart of this group without you there is no Silk just as simple is that
You sound crazy.without John John silk would not have been the group they were period.
I agree, without Lil G there is no Silk. Jon Jon is great too. But, when Lil G went on his own and left the group shortly I was so disappointed.
That’s very negative to say. Without jimmy, Big G and timzo there will be no lil G and Jon Jon brother. Last time I check lil G did a solo and departure to another group called blyse that didn’t workout.
Silk has a unique sound and it takes 5 guys to create that unique sound

@@bossmail89 All 5 guys ARE very necessary. But he is the heart!!!. When he left,the remaining 4 didn't do as well as they hoped w/o him and Lil G didn't either. They are stronger together!!! Jimmy is the reason there is a Silk...period and w/o Keith Sweat there would be no Lil G or this Silk. I think there were 2 other men who were a part of the group who didn't make the final cut. I have seen performances when 1 is missing but let Lil G be missing, the dynamic is NOT the same. Lil G has sung John John's part in a performance before but when Lil G is absent the whole group sang his part with Big G really stepping in.
The VOICE, he's amazing, well the whole damn groups is AMAZING and I alway had a huge crush on lilG

The group has its key members but their all an important key....
Right. They all play an important role. Without Jimmy, Timzo, and Big G who would hold down the songs the way they do while John John and Lil G are killing the leads. I LOVE Lil G's solo work too, but him with Silk gives me all types of thoughts as to why they have not been given the recognition they should besides an Unsung episode. I am glad I have their body of work and not just a fan of their radio hits. The music they produce is quality, timeless etc....

I Love The Fact That They Have Never Been Like I’m Gonna Sing All Lead They Allow Each Individual Member To Bring something To the table this is rare because as far as I know Silk is the only group with all 5 Original Members everyone else done either went solo or they aren’t a group anymore with the exception of H-Town because Dino died in a car accident
