No one had more than 50% because there were 3 candidates. There was supposed to be a "run off" between the leading 2 contenders i.e. Mugabe and Tsvangirai. Tsvangirai COULD have won but he decided to boycott the election as advised by his Western buddies. Dumb move. Mugabe went ahead with it anyway and declared himself pres!!
