Bravo Annick! Quel parcours depuis le théâtre de Compiègne où je suis allée vous applaudir pour la deuxième fois (la première étant l'auditorium du Châtelet) Une grande Diva qui a su privilégier son amour du chant lyrique, et cela ne va pas sans quelques sacrifices...Belle carrière en tout cas que vous ne devez qu'à votre talent et à votre courage.
Sincèrement magnifique! Quelle voix! Quelle technique! Quelle maîtrise! Ouahhhhhh!

Magnifique. Voilà ce qui s’appelle évoluer favorablement! Le medium gagne en chair, et l'aigu est toujours aussi brillant. Un vrai lyrique colorature, long, agile...Quel bonheur!

Grande artiste pas assez reconnue, en particulier en France. Elle n'a pas vraiment la voix du rôle (personne ne l''a actuellement), mais, lorsque c'est chanté comme ça, on en redemande et on dit merci !!! Bravissima !.
Annick Massis est né en 1958 . Connaissez vous beaucoup de soprano à son age manifestant une telle santé vocale . Certes le role n'est pas dans ses cordes mais qui en France ? Elle ne triche pas et ses prestations vallent bien d'autres soprani médiatisés qui n'arrivent plus à sortir un contre ré ...
Oui absolument d'accord avec vous, Annick a commencé sa carrière depuis 1992 et surtout avec un répertoire bel cantiste et romantique qui convient parfaitement à ses moyens vocaux.
I saw her Ms. Massis fifteen years ago in Geneva and have watched lots of videos of her. I think she's terrific. I actually like some of her later stuff more than some of her early stuff. The voice is definitely warmer, and it seems like her technique has changed a bit over the years. She used to sing with her mouth quite open all the time. That's not so much the case now. I tend to like singers' voices as they age and mellow a bit.

If the soprano aria is why it begins as a mezzo coloratura. The present aria is one of the Most Difficult ones to sing by a coloratura soprano in the bel canto repertoire.

Very few sopranos can sing properly this difficult music. And she does it. Wonderful rendition from a wonderful singer. Brava.

I actually think she is forcing it a little bit here. Her earlier performances were more balanced and hard superior blend of registers and better medium and low projection as a result. This is already quite late in her career and she has lost some flexibility in her upper register and some projection in her lower register (not in a huge way but it is perceptible and perfectly normal). This still remains a great performance by any standard, though..

Ah? Bon. C'est dommage, vraiment. Mais je l'adore! Quel talent, et une technique très sûre.
Se risquera t'elle à l'intégralité du rôle? On peut en douter et votre commentaire prend à cet égard tout son sens. Même si il est contestable de parler de "voix du rôle" la projection du medium et du bas medium reste trop faible. La vocalisation n'est pas exempte d'approximations. "Sympa"... cependant!
Ce n'est pas un rôle ni un air pour elle. Annick reste un soprano lirico-leggero, et Semiramide fut écrit pour un drammatico di agilità, avec un medium et un grave de contralto.
c'est écrit pour une Mezzo d'agilité avec la puissance de l'aigu La colbran était une authentique Sfogatto.
