David Wright in my humble opinion, i believe this audiobook is meant for people who have read the sutras and just need a quick refresher. It took me 6 hours to truly realize the first half reading my first time through And im not a bad reader/comprehender. I read a translated version with footnotes explaining each sanskrit word as best as possible in different ways. Some of these words have no direct translation and really need to be pondered on, despite the english explanation. Also, if i hadnt self studied through meditation daily in the past 6 months, this wouldnt do me much good as it does require GNOSIS to fully conceptualize. Gnosis = knowledge through experience
This is coming from someone who almost entirely learns scriptures and such through audiobooks instead of reading. This is honstely one of the scriptures you should read and meditate on to fully realize.

Respect your viewpoint. 27) "Sarve jana sukhino bhavantu " (May you all live happily) You represent this! You're free to choose, my dear Hindu! This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. I see the worlds are not exactly translating due to limitations of English and choosing all wrong words at all locations. This has lot of miss interpretation. Sorry, I have to say what it is.

Thank you for the book, but as someone else mentioned your "s" has a ring to it that is hard on my ears. Not trying to be mean, but that makes it hard to focus on the book content.
🙏🏽
I just can’t focus on the sutras when comments are merged with sutra.
If we are it or a part of it. what is the difference?
How tragic the guy had to introduce and compare this gem with a writing by Paul, who was in fact the chief false apostle of the Christ Issa, and was diametrically opposed to God's Law. For that reason the commentary stands on a foundation of rubble.

This is exactly the essence of Hinduism, all inclusive .. That is why it has withstood the test of time inspite of repeated onslaught both from within and outside, and assimilated every good aspects from everything . That is why it is eternal !!!
There is a saying in Rigveda , the first book ever known to mankind which depicts the Hinduism philosophy in a Nutshell -" Ano bhadrah Krathavo Yanthu Vishwathah"- Let the knowledge come to us from every direction "
Patanjali was suppsedly only half human and half reptilian or snake so im guessing he was a naga.

I see the worlds are not exactly translating due to limitations of English and choosing all wrong words at all locations. This has lot of miss interpretation. Sorry, I have to say what it is.
So do a translation and contribute instead of just criticizing.
@@chalinosanchez8113 it a comment on what this video is. Contributions not part of comment. That’s why it is called comment!
