I bought a 2005 Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 from an auction for $700.00 205000 miles. Runs good. No blow by. Engine is quiet with plenty of power. I just recently put all new brakes, (rotors, calipers, hoses, pads and parking brake shoes). All new mounts, trans, engine, differential. New front struts and cv axles. Going to have katskin leather seats installed. When it needs a new engine I will put a new 4.7 from powertrain products and drive it another 200,000 miles. I love my jeep. Best auction purchase I ever made.

Captain George 4.7 3.7 or 5.7
Yes the 3.7Lt Fuel ⛽ consumption
Underpowered engine for such heavy car, not very fuel efficient either compared to the V8s
