48hrs CARP FISHING AT OLD MILL LAKES

This was a recent trip carp fishing trip to old mill lakes during some very tough conditions indeed the wind got up to around 40mph and the rain was biblical but I kept at it but unfortunately no carp graced the bank on this occasion which was disappointing as at 3am on the second night I did lose a carp to a hook pull right under the net but never mind we gotta keep on keeping on, also a look at the fluorocarbon D rig that has served me so well over the last few years at old mill lakes plus some lovely footage from around this great fishery.

Great effort Daz, always enjoy your vlogs, i dont fish at old mill very often just occasionally on oak for a social.
Do fish at norton disney and know what you mean about the swans, I've actually stopped fishing there because of them and the road (pot holes).
Your vlogs are very much Simon Crow style which also inspired me, keep it short and to the point 👌🏻

Why is blue dye added to the lake ?

Hi Simon , the blue dye basically restricts light within the lake so this then makes it harder for weed to grow , so most lakes that are dyed tend to have hardly any weed in them . Hope that makes sense Buddy
