I don’t know what happened but I just don’t get jump scared anymore maybe it’s because I became so numb to it because I’ve watched dashie since 2011 horror videos and other UA-camrs doing horror when I was very young so I guess it just doesn’t work on me anymore
SPOILER the 8th floor was so trippy, loved how it played out so seamlessly too because at first I thought dash was just walking in a circle at 17:18 instead of being closed in lol. there's a lot of potential in that game to have lore and whatnot with the drawings on the wall telling a possible story about the kid/doll, and any explanation for why furniture and pipes and stuff were all over the place. I would have made a joke about how the building was just being decorated early for halloween haha
That ending to the first game and then turning that corner in the second game where he flew out at you literally threw my heart out my chest I jumped soooo hard
Elevated Dread was really good with its suspensefulness, so I'm upset they threw in a jump scare at the very end. It could have just let you leave the apartments and that alone would've been good enough.

That song was Opus 3 “it’s a fine day”. Except it’s altered with just the vocals. Orbital sampled that track which became “Halcyon on and on” for the mortal Kombat 1995 movie. I never thought I’d hear that in a horror gameplay from Dashie, but that’s a nice full circle from the mortal Kombat parody days 😂. Also, both tracks are great electronic /ambient tracks.
