Ahh thats amazing- thank you so much! SBAR Is an essential communication skill for both Doctors and Nurses so I am happy to hear its helped Adrian! Best of luck with your studies x
Thank you! In less than 10 minutes you explained, and more importantly, demonstrated what my clinical instructor never did on how to properly give report.
I'm having some anxiety relieving the stress of asking for a doctor's number during handoff or having to call them again 😅 this is so essential of a skill
This was quick, concise and yet detailed as it relates to the important information that needed to be shared. Thank you for sharing. This video was helpful.
Thank you so much for this video Zara. I'm doing an assignment right now that's due in literally 10 hours, and this is exactly what I needed. Btw I'm going to reference ur vid, thanx.
Hi nurse Zara am a first year student nurse studying in Zambia and am currently practicing in the hospital and giving handover is a problem for me but with the video I think I'll give it a try on Monday
Is there a difference between SBAR handover when you’re handing over to the doctor/escalating concern and the handover you give at the end of the shift to the day shift nurse or night shift nurse? Could you do a video on how to give handover when you’re handing over to a nurse at the end of the shift?
Thanks ma'am for sharing you knowledge with us . I have questions which is how to get study visa for UK international educated nurses. I am doing b.sc nursing from India so ma'am kindly explain whole process by a video.
thank you for your channel. I am about to start first year nursing degree in a couple of weeks and these videos have been super helpful. looking forward to future content :)
I was looking forward to your recommendation to the doctor... I think I like your idea of you asking the doctor if there is something he want you to do.... My question to you is, if the doctor asked you what is your recommendation what would you say?
I really don't like the way she said this is straight up difficult. Saying that psychologically discourages others but as a nurse I expect her to encourage others and know the power of her words. She could have said some people may say it is difficult but we should not think that way since with practice it becomes easy. After watching her video I was actually wondering what was difficult about this anyway
I am a third year medical student, and I am also finding this incredibly helpful! Best SBAR technique video on UA-cam
