Getting the characters, items, and extra levels through microtransactions doesn't sound like a bad idea. Players can also use the old figurine to unlock right away. Some Skylanders can be unlockable throughout the game.

Ssa still has some of the most creative levels, even to this day. Also I still remember how the final fight felt like a dark souls boss in terms of difficulty
Yeah, It definitely feel like it was suppose to be a Spyro game early in developement ( there is a lot of similarity with old Spyro games like the PNJ, Auric, the collect-a-thon features)
I kinda wish he made more like for each eternal source he’d have three evil skylanders guarding the source making it where we not only have to find them but have to fight Kaos for it making us earn the source

Just noticed but these boss fights seem WAAAAAY harder than in the newer games, for ps4.. guess they wanted younger people to enjoy the games more, without struggling.
I haven’t played Skylanders in YEARS, like at least 5-6, but I still remember how fights and certain dialogue went, and I could tell that some fights and dialogues (even sound effects) were different from my experience on Wii. I also noticed a few visual and dialogue bugs but overall the fights were just how I remembered them.

the final boss in the wii version is actually harder, after the artillery wave kaos will sacrifice his final minions the regain ALL of his health, also the camera with the spell casting cuteness in the illusion kaos fights are better as well.

ATTACK!!!!!! me: NO NO! please don't do that! *all three minions sparn in* me: of course you have done that. you have ALWAYS done that to me kaos!
TheHiddenSword they made more sense because kaos was a portalmaster but turned evil due to being not liked by his peers and even his mom witch is why he was able to summon dark zap dark eruptor ect .
They aren't the actual Skylanders, but actually the species from where Skylanders like Gill Grunt, Flameslinger, and Ghost Roaster originated from, which is a nice detail. Either way, it feels like the Bosses from the games came full circle!
Or at least a compilation with Swap Force,Trap Team, Superchargers and Imaginators and you can unlock the Skylanders like in the lego games (or the mobile games even though it would be full of mtx)

Meh. I have taken quite a liking to Stealth Elf, Lightning Rod, Terrafin and Trigger Happy. Mostly Terrafin, because you are basically invincible under ground. Although I adore Trigger Happy's machine gun.
I wish i could paly this game again. I love how in the final fight you fight all the minions kaos used on you in previous fights so its like an ultimate test of skill for making it this far. Not to mention the hydra also forceing you to dodge serval kinds of attacks at the same time. Now wonder 5 year old me couldnt beat this game.
Nowadays I can take out kaos with only one character and my two main options are trigger happy (especially with infinite machine gun ammo upgrade) and stealth elf (auto heal upgrade included)
I remember in the stone golem fight, there was a ledge that went over the arena, and there was enough room for one Skylander to stay there. That slander could not die. I just used Trigger Happy's machine gun there. Easiest fight.
