Looks like a solid build. Just one bit of advice on the gut hook, I'd look at rounding off the point thats there right now. When field dressing a deer the gut hook is there so you dont puncture any of the intestines or stomach, so the way its coming to a sharp point is going to work against that

watched this while driving. the officer that pulled me over for wreckless driving says nice knife and something about me not driving till I'm 18 I dunno the knife distracted me
I’ll admit I’m not great at heat treating and have a lot to learn there, but I literally did put a finish on the blade, boiled linseed oil and buffered. Not sure what you’re talking about there

Didn’t even put a finish on the steel, and heat treat…. Horrible. You have a long way to go if you plan on selling those.
