@@jdogofoz3642I’d definitely recommend using the psvr for this one. The nighttime/dark sections look so much better with the oled screens and the devs are wizards with eliminating mura
Let's start by saying that the game isn't super graphically impressive on either platform, but it looks good. The problem is always that the game was primarily made and optimized for Quest, and for PC and PSVR2 we only got a slightly powdered version with better effects and textures. PS5 and especially PC can do much, much more. There are no dynamic shadows from the sun or light sources from enemies (behemoths have some shadows) in the game, even at the highest settings on the best PC, apart from a diffuse shadow under the characters. You also didn't mention that the Quest version works with reprojection and in a lower resolution when, for example, PSVR2 PS5 has native 90 fps.
Well, games need to sell And it was too risky to develop for such a niche platform Quest actually saved VR Valve never announced another VR game after Alyx (and it seems like their next headset will also be Standalone). Playstation is not investing in new games either. Thanks to the popularity of Quest we finally see more games coming, and some even go to your beloved PCVR and PS5.
You're wrong, the Quest 3 version doesn't use any reprojection, runs at native 72 frames per second (and is super smooth). And with Quest Games Optimizer you can significantly increase the resolution, and the framerate can be raised to 90.
Most obvious visual difference I’m noticing on this footage - and this has been consistent with other comparison footage - is that the Quest 3 stuff color is popping far more, as is the contrast. It’s really perplexing to me since PSVR2 is known for having such good color and the HD bright brights and dark darks. Are you keeping your PSVR2 brightness levels really low??
I own all versions and PSVR2 is much closer to the PC VR version than Quest as It should be and the controller and headset haptics adds to the immersion. I took my Quest around to my relatives just now and they were mighty impressed with the scale and vistas. There is a much bigger gap between Skydance's Saint's & Sinners 2 PSVR2/PC compared to Quest version. Skydance must have reined it a bit for Behemoth after that S&S 2 Quest disaster. The great thing about it though is Behemoth seems like a grander scale game in some areas to me. I have not come across any 500 ft zombies stomping about in Saints & Sinners haha. Thanks for the video. Everyone got a good version, lets hope they really polish it and add New Game+ with an extra hard difficulty level.
I'm surprised at how good the graphics r for psvr2. I knew ghe gameplay was gonna be amazing but the graphics are actually closer to the resident evil games

People keep saying that Quest 3 is only "an android mobile chip". Technically it is 100% true, but that mobile chip is also more powerful than regular PS4. Technology goes forward and not too long ago PS4 was cutting edge on console market.
Technically that's true but it's also rendering a much higher resolution than psvr (4x more pixels) had and an increased frame rate so its the direct power comparison isn't the only factor
I would still easily go with the PSVR 2 version. The resolution is more than fine on the psvr 2 version, and the improvements in lighting, textures and draw distance really take it to another level.

Visually although behemoth is a nice looking game but having to run on quest you can see its standalone limitations. Cotm is far superior graphically and even the bosses in cotm are more impressive and animated nicer. I prefer cotm climbing and bow handling whilst behemoth has the edge on combat. Will be interesting to see how arken age compares as game does not need be held back graphically by standalone. Arken age would have a far smaller budget than both.

Best overall headset? Quest 3 Best budget headset? Quest 3S Best quality while lower lifecycle cost? PCVR with Quest 3 Best quality money can buy? Also PCVR with Quest 3 Don't forget that, although, sometimes the upfront investment with PSvr can be slightly lower than PCVR, the longtern cost of PS is a lot higher. You can find a lot of estimates online, but tldr: with a €1000 PC (with that budget, it's even possible to get better specs than a PS5 Pro) saves you an average of 26% in total cost compared to gaming on a PS. With a €1500 PC, you save 6% compared to a PS, and with a €2000 PC, you spend 14% more on the PC (note that for these last two PCs, the gaming quality of the games is considerably superior to that of a console). This basically happens because the main source of profit for PlayStation comes from the price of games and subscriptions, which is the "hidden cost" of consoles. With this set-up you can also play without cables attached which increases immersion and its way better for intensive games, and you have full ecosystem compatibility. Also with PC you have access to a lot more content and games and you can mod games, which extend their replay value even further.
