Great job, you two! We loved the site at Sand Spit...stayed there a few years ago. We were woken up at 430am by a bull moose drinking from that tiny stream next to the tent pad - amazing!
Holy heck that looked like a brute of a trail!! ….beautiful views though and no doubt a great sense of achievement …. The cairns really help out don’t they!?! they have a lot of those on the trails back in England and boy do they help when the fog or low clouds roll in…. It is definitely not a trail for the faint hearted! I miss how every time I came out to the shore or turned a corner it looked different. And yes...I found the mileage was definitely off!

Luckily no injuries…the hike was very much mental too. And we were told it’s called Gar - gan -twa.
