I split up with my ex after 8 years of marriage. Because of her bitch mother, CPS also got involved and our son got taken away. I lost literally everything. I'm still currently homeless because of her. My son is the only reason I'm still breathing. And because of what my ex put me through, physical mental and verbal abuse and she cheated on me multiple times then left me for one of the guys that she cheated on me with. One thing that nobody knows, I was planning on cutting her brake lines and sabotaging the throttle on her car. But then she ended up getting custody back of our son. The only reason she's still around, because I don't want to risk put my son in danger. So I guess, my son is reason we're both still alive.
Em's music is like taking a prescription for whatever you need to get through. His catalog has helped me get through some rough points.
it helped me understand good or bad the experiences i had with her made me who i am and while I'm not 100% happy with who i am, i learned how to deal with the dark parts of myself. by not acting on my negative thoughts, no matter how much i wanted to, i realized that i grew as a person who could keep his anger in check. i can walk away before things escalate anytime I get into an argument with someone. it's a great feeling

I never caught the November 31st not being an actual date 🤦🏻♂️ but then he says “2 years but you left on the first of May” which also doesn’t make sense based on the release of the track…if he’s talking about Kim.
The way this man is able convey his feelings / emotions through his vocals is unlike anyone else “I’ve” ever listened to. You can hear his pain / conviction and eventually you begin to actually feel (or I project?) how he was feeling while spitting the verse. One of the many keys to EM’s success is how vulnerable he allows himself to be at times. The casual listener likely thinks he is psychotic.. the more avid listener likely thinks he’s bipolar… Eminem fans know him as a person who wears his heart on his sleeve and has no qualms letting you know what emotion he is feeling. The man is pure genius.. love your videos - great break downs and always entertaining!!
I agree. There are lyrics that made me feel appalled the first time hearing them, but really, they are just honest. I guess everybody has an ugly, aggressive, violent side, but it’s usually something that gets repressed and nobody talks about, except this guy, which makes it so relatable and understandable. Also, he is not just the guy fantasizing about killing his wife, he is also the guy that wrote heartfelt songs to his daughter(s), that later apologized to his mother and ex-wife, that makes fun of himself constantly and so so much more.

Eminems music has helped me through alot of hard times in my life. I can relate to his music because of my past. My childhood was shit also shit relationships marrage and life in general. My go to songs on my marrage was KIM, PUKE, and BONNIE AND CLYDE. Me and my daughter. His music saved my life so many times. Instead of hitting out or losing my temper. I'd put Eminem on repeat. He has a song for every mood and every situation. I can't say I can relate to his songs about drugs or addiction. As I've never had to deal with that on personal level. But have had family members go through it. That's why alot of people can relate to Eminem. He says how it is doesn't try to sugar coat everything. He has been through it and lived it to tell his story. It's because of that people relate to him. A lot of us have been in that same situation. We just don't know how to speak about it. His music has been my life line. No i am not a Stan and people who say they can't relate to Eminems music. Are lying to them selves as I can guarantee there is a song. This song hits hard… I’m currently going through a domestic dispute and I have a baby on the way with the woman along with a step child I accepted even tho she was made while we were already together and had me believing the first kid was mine up until she was born and the other guy came forward. Been put in jail once already by the women and just earlier tonight she tried putting me back in jail. Now I’m forced to live in a hotel while she gets MY house because I’m not allowed near her.
