Awesome, I would make sure you are going to add a lot of weight if you go with the heavy load kit. If you don’t it will bounce around and ride terrible.

Great video. Did you have to add or modify any other things regarding the suspension and stearing aside from the OME shocks and springs from the kit? I have read that a break line relocation kit is needed, and also maybe an adjustable track bar like the one from teraflex? Also, did you relocate the rear trackbar? I went with the light load because based on what I've read I am not carrying as much weight.

I did not modify anything. Brake lines reached fine. Track bar was fine as well as rear track bar. It was only a 2” lift anything taller and you would have to change all the other stuff. Thanks for watching. Been busy with a farm we bought (rambling farms homestead). Will be out jeeping again soon.

Did you measure the actual life achieved after install? My 2 inch lift added over 3 inches.

I did not measure before I started but my wife complained that it was too high until we went wheelin and cleared all the obstacles. 3” sounds about right.

Just to add, I had a leveling kit on my last JK. Two inches in the front and 1 1/2” in the rear. With my weight I added a 1” spacer to the rear making it 2 1/2” total lift. After installing the Old Man Emu 2 1/2” lift I could immediately tell the Jeep was taller while getting into the drivers seat. Now I have a lot of weight on my Jeep so yours may be different based on what you are carrying.

My truck is like that. Rides terrible unless it’s loaded down then drives like a Cadillac. Do you plan to add weight? If not you might want to just go with a regular lift kit that has a lighter spring. I have a 150 pound bumpers front and rear, winch, plus the added weight of the Ursa Minor and goose gear platform with fridge in the back. For me, it rides just like it did before all the mods.

So sorry, that stinks to do all that work and it not turn out good. Got to add some serious weight for the heavy load kit.

Planning on the 2 inch lift, forums says it’s not true and it’s close or over 3 inches 🤣 not complaining tho because it will settle down over time.

I posted this on the other comment but wanted to make sure you saw it too. I had a leveling kit on my last JK. Two inches in the front and 1 1/2” in the rear.
