This is just soo pure. It’s like a whole different world we are living in and these two have a separate world of their own. Sheer bliss of 39:54 minutes.
I am laid up right now with very intense back pain but listening and watching you two has helped take my mind off it quite a bit. Especially Trid, he's so hilarious! lol Thank you both so much! 🤘🤘🖤🖤🙏🙏
My personal favorite self care moment is driving home after work or on my way to work with my music blasting. It puts me in a great mood heading to work and it relaxes me on the way home.
Loved this episode, big on self care. A cold shower for me is actually self care, its beneficial for people with mental health or physical pain( anxiety, stress, hypervigilance, dissociation) ( nerve damage, inflammation)
I think doing a podcast with a guest whilst getting a pedicure is a dynamite idea. I really liked hearing other people laugh at Trid when he is off on one. I think watching these videos each week is my self care. Luv you guys. ❤❤❤
I do a stillness experience in the early mornings. There are walkways surrounded by trees in my neighborhood and sometimes I walk these paths or pick spots that speak to me and take pictures of the nature I see. Other times, I find a place to sit to view nature. The key behind it all is not to think. Just listen, feel the air on your skin, follow your breath. All of life speaks to us. Not in words, but in recognition of all that is alive. So you listen as if waiting for a tree to speak. This puts you in your now moment, setting all thoughts aside and feel it all. Works magic in your day for sure. I find I laugh more and don't take anything too seriously.♥
100% love the cold water at the end of a shower. And one reason is like he said... it's something that isn't "fun" and takes effort, like a workout, but it feels so good when its over
I was told as a teenager that by running the cold water over your hot/warm skin closes your skin pores that the hot water has opened up. Not sure why that was important for your skin and pores, but I think how refreshing jumping into water when the sun has heated your skin and we all like what the cooler water does and how it feels on our skin. On another note, this was a very interesting podcast that their conversation was fascinating from the start to the end. Thank you Sheena and Trid. 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
You both did very well to carry on chatting and stay relaxed. Whenever I get a pedicure my feet get so ticklish that I'm squirming in my seat and can't keep still! 😂😂
Self-care…meditation, grounding/being in nature, face yoga, screen-free at least an hour before bed, doing my best to stay in a state of inner relaxedness even if life feels chaotic, eating food that loves me back, being around positive people, appreciating beauty, practicing gratitude daily, following my heart/intuition, random acts of kindness, watching the sunrise/sunset, taking a few deep breaths in between tasks (not just going right from one thing to the next), doing something *just because* 🧡
Listening to this podcast on Tuesdays is a little bit of splurge time on self care. That and owning a Dutch Shepherd who must go to the park at 0400 every day before I go to work. The world is a beautiful place at 0400.
Since I’ve had my son, my self care is 1 hour of uninterrupted time to paint my nails. No worries about smudging the polish or anything and it makes me feel complete.
I look forward to "my Tuesday night special ".. a great couple who is willing to be vulnerable and share a day in a life of a family of 4, living in "suburbia" and educating their "audience".. thank you.. I look forward to the next episode of the Mr and Mrs Melwani ❤
“It takes courage to say yes to rest and play in a culture where exhaustion is seen as a status symbol.” Brene Brown It could be tweaked to “It takes courage to say yes to self-care in a culture where self-sacrifice is seen as a status symbol.”
My self care is soaking in a hot Epsom salt bath. I switch up which sent I use but the rose is my favorite! I'm working on doing more for myself now that the kids are out of the house.
I don't even know what to say about you two anymore. ❤❤This episode went to another level! (Side note: TRID = Tuesdays Really Improved Drastically)

Ending showers with cold/cool closes the pores and strengthens immune system 👍

Not Sheena coercing TRID to say the right thing at 26:00 😂😂❤

First comment! I always look forward to your podcast. It's my favorite podcast that I'm listening to right now. :)

Sheenas new discription...."voice of the day" :D
Spend time in nature.
My husband loves getting pedicures
I am an HVAC Tech and now I’m self conscious of my fingernails. They can get grease and dirt in them at times.
Omg, I just started this as a guy. It's such a great feeling.
But guys did paint their nails from what I read on the history.
If you don't have a leg to stand on, you can't put your foot down. ...[Robert Altman]❤😂🎉
You guys should check out a Indian Folk metal band called BLOODYWOOD. They are great.
🌴🌴🌴 You really should be selling TRID Boble Heads 😂😂😂😂😂. But seriously I think that they would sell.
Anis 😂😂😂😂😂
What year self care invented 😂😂😂
Would Trid have gone to the couples pedicure with you if you had just told him you booked a couples pedicure?
No trades men 😂. Especially while working. Tell that to a mechanic or construction worker 😂.... My self care is going to the Gun Range.
Blind leading the blind?
I wouldn't be able to stop myself hugging and kissing her so adorable
And still no love to the Canadians for thanksgiving. But I put money they won’t forget Independence Day or gay pride or US thanksgiving
One time I went on a date and the guy requested me to wear open toe shoes and to paint my toe nails red for the date 😂 he had a foot fetish.
How can anyone like her Dude do your own podcast
Without him, shees nothing, mediocre singing at best, he is the star
You’re not a singer
A bit boring episode.
