That is a beautiful park. I love the little stream and the pond. So nice and grassy everywhere. What a lovely old church building. Gorgeous view of the sea! Beautiful evening sky! Thank you for sharing your tour. Very nice!
Yes definitely recommend Run Cottage. Local pub is dog friendly and serves food. Village shop is like a mini supermarket. If you want to explore the nearby villages you will need to take the van but there are plenty of places to park off season. Thanks for watching and see you soon 😁 Trev
Lovely place guys nice and “ out the way “ so to speak , we looked at there but never ended up going , love coming across all those ww2 pillboxes , thanks for showing us around 👍
There were a couple more further up the road and the three Martello towers but the weather turned us back. Great site but quite remote. Nice pub and shop in the village and surrounded in lovely places to explore. Have a good weekend and stay safe 🙂 Trev
Keep the vids coming - great to see your travels before all our lives were turned upside down.We really enjoyed our trip to Suffolk a few years back. Will be on the list for UK visits when we are back on the road. Keep safe and well.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments. We have a few more videos scheduled but like everyone we are stranded at home now. We will keep the videos coming even if it’s just one per week. 😄 Trev n Sue
thank you for driving us along Run Cottage Touring Park. so nice to see this kind of video when we are unable to go anywhere now. stay safe my new youtube friend and stay connected.💪🤝🔔 Nice weekend my friend
Yes, we just made it to this site before the travel restrictions and we were delighted to see how lovely the site still is. It’s the beginning of spring and soon the flowers will be coming into bloom. Thanks for watching 😊 Trev
Lovely memories of happier times, these will come back but maybe people wil be more grateful for the freedom of movement and the outdoors when all this is over. Take care and please stay safe all, hope Joe and Sheila are well too xx
We are all fine thank you. We are trying to remain positive like most people and feel certain we can enjoy the great outdoors again soon. Stay safe and well 😊 Trev
That is a lovely park! I could sit by the seaside all day long, love to hear it roar! That certainly is a beautiful church and the pews were so ornate! Thanks for giving us something else to think about! Trev, you, Sue and your family stay safe!
This area is very unspoilt and not far from where we live. The church is clearly loved as the locals have kept it open and so clean and nice inside. We love this part of the east coast and the North Sea always seems different whenever we visit. Thanks so much for watching 🙂 Trev n Sue
LOL swimming in those waters would be very dangerous judging by the currents that could be seen. There are lots of sand banks out there that cause the tides to flow at pace. The sunset was a very pink one which only lasted about 20 minutes. Thanks for watching 😁 Trev
The campground was really pretty. I loved the cottage look of the check in and the shape of the cabins. I especially love churches so thank you for sharing about the church.
Thanks so much for watching. We like looking round the villages and the local churches. We are so lucky to have so many historic buildings, we will try to visit as many as we can when the current rules allow us to. Stay safe and well 😊 Trev
Jeanne thank you, we spend a lot of time rushing about but visiting these places forces us to slow down and appreciate nature. We really appreciate your comments 😊 Trev n Sue
Just a brief look in this one as it was a bit dark in there. Gladly it was left open but many had to close their doors due to theft and vandalism. We like to look round the old churches as they form an important historical element locally. Thanks so much for watching 😁 Trev
A really remote spot less than an hour from home. Pity we didn’t have longer but we had to get home. The site is lovely and owners and other campers were really friendly 😁 thanks for watching 😁 Trev n Sue
It’s really quite a small park but very well kept and family run. The owners are happy to chat and tell you about local places to visit. A very relaxed atmosphere, just as a weekend should be. Thanks so much for watching 😁 Trev
Love how yours are called touring parks and ours are campgrounds. Those little cabins are super cute! Oh those waves. Sure would love to be at the beach right now. The architecture is great too!
Thanks for your lovely comments, we enjoy the sounds of the sea and the crunching stones under our feet. Luckily we only live 30 minutes from the coast so can visit quite easily 😊 Trev
Our second visit there and certainly a lovely place to relax and enjoy the Suffolk coast. Really rural around this part too. Yes I am sure we will soon be out again. Stay safe and well 😊 Trev n Sue
What a lovely little site, looks well maintained. You do find some great sites Trev. The single cottage near the sea look familiar, think I've seen it on a TV programme. Keep safe Poshcats, speak soon, Martin
You may well have seen it on tv. It’s a very unspoiled part of the east coast. I can’t wait to visit more of Suffolk but of course we have to be patient this year 😊 thanks for your support 👍🏻 Trev
Thanks Mark, it’s a quiet area even in the height of summer. We like the rural feel of some of the villages that are clinging on to their local pubs and way of life. 🙂 Trev
So nice! Very different from parks here in Canada and the USA. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen a park where the grass is so well maintained and has the RVs parked on it.
Yes, grass pitches are common on the smaller campsites in the UK. The owners are very proud to keep their site so well maintained. We are lucky to have this kind of independent campsite all over the country and we love to visit them. Thanks so much for watching 😁 Trev
My ancestors were English, moved to Canada, crossed over to Michigan. I live in Ohio, USA. I don't think I'll ever visit England in person, glad to see how camping is done there.
Thanks Martin, yes the last little outing. We were hearing things whilst at this site but three weeks later we are in a different world. You stay safe and well too 👍🏻 Trev
Hi from NZ we hope you are keeping well with this horrible virus around. We are in our 4th day in complete lockdown, were supposed to be away in our MH but of course it was postponed. We enjoy being home so only not being able to go away in our MH is the only downfall. Love your walk and the beautiful old church and graveyard. Village is lovely too. Look after yourselves.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments. It’s such a shame there are so many of us that have have to postpone our Motorhome trips this spring. Easter is looking like it’s going to be very quiet this year and the summer will soon be here in the UK. I guess you may be looking at cooler weather now but being home is always good. Stay safe and well 🙂 Trev n Sue
Hi both hope your both well.can you plz send me a link on where you got your dog cage that's on the intro would be great for two of my cavalier king Charles.xxxx god bless xxxx
Ours came from a local caravan dealer but I found it on eBay here rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F233368283471
There is a B road that runs from Bawdsey to Butley along the Suffolk coast but it connects a few villages so it’s unlikely to be persistent road noise. There is more chance of it being wind or sea noise as the site is less than a mile from the North Sea. This site is still a favourite local site for us but we have few opportunities to go back as we have been busy with other tours. 😃🚐 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping More than a touch LOL. But I think your right a dram will sort that out. Currently touring the world on my Ham Radio gear as i cannot get out to play LOL

Another great one Trev. A site we’ve said we would go to many times but haven’t yet! Can’t beat the remote Suffolk coast. Thanks for sharing mate
