Part lll should show 5 PCC equipped lines in the US: San Francisco F Market line, Philadelphia rt 15 Girard Avenue, Boston T Mattapan shuttle, El Paso and Kenosha. Only the ones in San Francisco and Boston may be running.
Unfortunately I only got 6 out of 25 correct, I thought the Kolomna trams were in Saint Petersburg in Russia, I got the country correct but not the town. The same happend with the first one, I thought it was Washington DC, and by the way, I did actually get the one which was in Washington DC correct. I may not have guessed a lot of the tram networks correctly, but I still enjoyed the video. It was lovely seeing trams from around the world because I love trams.
I am surprised that Melbourne Australia was not included. It has one of the largest tram and light rail systems in the world. It runs around 550 trams across an extensive network. Sydney's tram network by comparison is tiny.
Marc van der wee Ironically when they were digging up the roads for the new trams in Sydney, the old tram tracks were still there ! Had to dig those up as well.
That Sydney tram, the second one, was plastered with an ad for a Museum in Melbourne. Did he pick that footage to mislead viewers who cheated and paused the video to read text on the trams and cityscape?
Wait... I almost commuted to the museums via Union station in DC basically daily and never knew it had a tram! this would have been 2018 so according to wiki the tram was there....
To be accurate, no 2 is the North West New Territories , Hong Kong or Tuen Mun Light Rail. The “real” Hong Kong tramway is the double-deck tramcars street tramway system running along the north of Hong Kong Island.
I got 7 this time, plus the countries for perhaps 10 more. Many of the systems were newer than my visit to those cities, and many had been modernised. I got Hong Kong (Tuen Mun) and Sofia in seconds, and Dubai in the last second. Interestingly, I have been on some systems (and countries) which haven't featured yet, but perhaps part 3 is on the way?
Consider me a tram rookie. I had about four good guesses out of the twenty-five footage clips. I was close enough with clips out of Washington State, Japan, China, and Lisbon, Portugal. Yeah, this was a challenging quiz, especially for someone who doesn’t get around much. Here’s hoping that changes in a post-pandemic society! (-:
For me as well. Im not too familiar with light rail/trams around the world and certainly didn't recognize the livery/colors. I guessed a few of them right in terms of the country just from the surroundings and advertisements, Architecture, and the writing.
3:39 That Tram is totally same (featuring sounds Of motor and the interior) to the classic 3800 tram of Valencia (Spain) (still in service)! The 3800 are my favorites of the Valencian tram, because the new Bombardier Flexity (listed as 4200) I do not like very much ... PS: I hope that one day you can come here to Valencia and record the tram and the metro (although it is more of a network of commuter trains, because most of the stations and routes are on the surface, it is only underground in the city center, the port and airport area and some suburban city that complained of the noise of the train when passing the steps to level (despite the network being older than the neighbors) and having buried the subway so that it stops through the subway, in fact, the only line that is entirely underground is line 5, which goes from the Maritim-Serreria neighborhood (a port, to continue to the port you have to change to tram line 8, a connection that is made on the next rail, which uses the famous Barcelona solution, it is a direct connection) Greetings from Valencia (Spain) 😉🇪🇦
I live in Edinburgh so I recognised the Edinburgh trams. I also recognised Hong Kong because I've been there and recognised the octopus symbol. I got Nagasaki because I've also been there and ridden those. I didn't recognise Osaka even though I'd been there. Cologne was a giveaway because Köln was on one of the signs.
My guesses: 1. Tacoma, the destination sign gave it away 2. Looks Japanese, not good with their tram systems. (Nope, Hong Kong!) 3. Little Rock 4. Seems European, Berlin? (Nope, Cologne, but I was right about it being German) 5. English speaking country, not North American, Edinburgh? Nevermind, it's Melbourne, I saw it on the advertisement. (Wrong, Sydney! Man, I really thought it was Melbourne b/c of that advert) 6. Lille, said so on the vehicle. 7. Seems European, but otherwise no clue. (The answer was Lisbon) 8. Looks Japanese again, but I don't know my Japanese cities well enough to identify the system. (Turned out to be Nagasaki) 9. Polish? Let's go with Warsaw, why not. (Nope, not at all. Stockholm) 10. Something in Europe, no clue. (Nope, Morocco, not even Europe!) 11. Looks like the UK? Let's try Edinburgh. (Hell yeah, got it right!) 12. Well we got Nagasaki earlier, so let's try Hiroshima.(Nope, Osaka) 13. Let's try Warsaw again. (Nope, Bratislava, never even heard of that place) 14. Charlotte. 15. Moscow? (Yay!) 16. It kinda looks like it says Amsterdam on the back of the tram, so lets go with that. (Wrong. Potsdam, another city I've never heard of) 17. D.C. I've seen this one in person before! 18. Looks cold, Helsinki? (Nope, Oslo) 19. I am once again going for Warsaw. I will probably once again be wrong. (Nope, Antwerp) 20. German? Let's go for Berlin. (Nope, The Hauge, another city I've never heard of) 21. Atlanta. The Marta sign gave it away. 22. IDK, let's try Warsaw again. (Nope, Sofia) 23. Dubai. 24. I don't think it's Warsaw, but if I guess another city and it turns out it was actually Warsaw, I'd be devastated, so let's go Warsaw. (Another new city for me, Kolomna) 25. Christchurch? (Correct!) 9/25
My best to date, I got 17! I been to most of them. I wonder what you do to be able to visit so many transit systems. I been to many around the world, but not enough...
Got all the countries right, but not always the cities ! The Russian ones were the most difficult, as the same type of rolling stock is found nearly everywhere through the country.
That's only if you don't know Russian rolling stock :) Nowadays new rolling stock between many systems is much more diverse, there is more manufacturers of trams in Russia than it was during the USSR.
Yes this was good. As a tram/light rail enthusiast of some 70+ years I won't say my score - it was terrible. What I will say though is WELL DONE, - you have started, (perhaps), a new trend on YT of something called QUIZES and why not, it would certainly brighten the 'doom and gloom' that 'Covid' has caused. I for one would look forward to any, - on ANY SUBJECT.
I have 10, all European systems. For me are the tramsystems in the USA the hardest because the look all the same to me. All 3 part low floor tram stuck in trafic on a wide road with lots of cars.
#1 Tacoma, so I am guessing its Seattle? no, It's the city of Tacoma, where the bridge was, thought about it but did not realize it had a transit system #2 thought maybe Macau... thought Hong-Kong only had double decker trams #3 Pretty sure that's San Francisco... not even close! #4 Knew it must be somewhere in Germany... never heard of that place though #5 Ok, that must be... no, wrong side of the world . . . .
Sorry, you have Here a Chaos in your Videoclips. You write Lisboa and the Tram in the Sequenz is a Japan Tram! Please write the City and than the Video. City- Video, City- Video.

Greetings from Potsdam.
Wow, Kolomna! Didn't expect to see my native town in this list.
Part lll should show 5 PCC equipped lines in the US: San Francisco F Market line, Philadelphia rt 15 Girard Avenue, Boston T Mattapan shuttle, El Paso and Kenosha. Only the ones in San Francisco and Boston may be running.
The DC one stuck in traffic made me laugh so hard because "Red Vehicle", "WB Union Station", and "Stuck in Traffic" translates into "DC Streetcar"
I was pleased to see Oslo, Norway represented! A small but cute and well-worthy addition
Unfortunately I only got 6 out of 25 correct, I thought the Kolomna trams were in Saint Petersburg in Russia, I got the country correct but not the town. I saw the clue at 11:11 so I thought it was Kalingrad
I recognized Charlotte NC. I failed this 'test'. Great video!! Thanks Tim👍👍
I am surprised that Melbourne Australia was not included. It has one of the largest tram and light rail systems in the world. It runs around 550 trams across an extensive network. Sydney's tram network by comparison is tiny.
Not only tiny, compared to melbourne. But also quite new.. As the last original tramline(s) in Sydney was (were) closed in 1968.
Marc van der wee Ironically when they were digging up the roads for the new trams in Sydney, the old tram tracks were still there ! Had to dig those up as well.
Melbourne IS the largest tram network in the world.
Swanston St/St Kilda Rd is the busiest tram corridor in the world.....
That Sydney tram, the second one, was plastered with an ad for a Museum in Melbourne. Did he pick that footage to mislead viewers who cheated and paused the video to read text on the trams and cityscape?
Are you aware of the ION LRT from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario in Canada?
Wait... I almost commuted to the museums via Union station in DC basically daily and never knew it had a tram! this would have been 2018 so according to wiki the tram was there....

This blue streetcar at 4:35 looks so much like the Bombardier Flexity Streetcars in Frankfurt am Main!
It is actually a Frankfurt(Main) car on loan to Stockholm - now replaced with new CAF cars.
Excellent video my friend 🙋♂️
C'est joli de voir les trams d'ailleurs qu'en France. merci pour les connaissances et le travail. Amicalement de france.
How do I live in Atlanta and have never seen our tram?
My best to date, I got 17! I been to most of them. I wonder what you do to be able to visit so many transit systems. I been to many around the world, but not enough...
I knew 7 of them. However only 6 count as I work for the Little Rock streetcar
Got all the countries right, but not always the cities ! The Russian ones were the most difficult, as the same type of rolling stock is found nearly everywhere through the country.

"What tram system is hard to identify?"
All of them, apparently, except for Stockholm and Bratislava for some reason
Yes this was good. As a tram/light rail enthusiast of some 70+ years I won't say my score - it was terrible. The first tram is a Skoda 10T streetcar.
I only got
Tacoma
Stockholm
Edinburgh
Moscow
Washington DC
Oslo
I guessed Washington DC and Atlanta correct, maybe Moscow. The rest? Forget it!!! 😣
I have 10, all European systems. For me are the tramsystems in the USA the hardest because the look all the same to me. All 3 part low floor tram stuck in trafic on a wide road with lots of cars.
The second one is Tsuen Mun, Hongkong
Denver has a Light Rail.
I got 14 out of 25 (:

a very nice video!
I know nothing. The only two I guessed correctly (Little Rock & Köln) I identified the city by posters in the background :-D.
I guessed The Hague and Sofia (I live near The Hague and I am from Sofia so no surprise)
I guessed only two: Dubai and Edinburgh (I took there a picture on that very station 1½ years ago).
6/25 - not good at all. Yes, this was hard!
The second is Hong Kong Light Rail, and the third is Tacoma, you are exchanged that
Isn't it a bit too much to put "likes" before the premieres? 😁
Sorry, you have Here a Chaos in your Videoclips. You write Lisboa and the Tram in the Sequenz is a Japan Tram! Please write the City and than the Video. City- Video, City- Video.
Lol that defeats the purpose of the video if you put the answer first and then the clip ;)
by the look of the comments not too many got my home town of Christchurch, New Zealand.
Its good that cities are repurposing the tram. Except for the cable car which is last one in San Francisco.
Got 10/25 Haha
Wait, Hong Kong is in China? You learn something new everyday
Technically, it is; more specifically, People's Republic of China governing HKSAR since 1997: ua-cam.com/video/dVZzRY0X6_g/v-deo.html
Ironic, the West were the ones who gave HK to China and now it's the Westerners who refuse to recognise it 😁😁

Hong Kong, China 0:53
Nagasaki & Osaka!!👍🇯🇵
Got 3 right lol
I guessed Tacoma and Hong Kong
4:08 that's Japan
a tramway makes a city a real city!
funny enough, new york is one of the few cities in the US that doesn’t have light rail or a streetcar! we have 26 subway lines though!
