Vandegrift was 100% on. Vandegrift deserved to win the show. The cleanliness of the playng and precision of their drill was outstanding this evening. Rouse has the highest emotional connection of any show in Texas this season. But don't confuse that with precision and cleanliness. Both bands are having great seasons. Enjoy the shows and don't fret judging decisions.
@@kidosmilan3717 I think more people would love Requiem even more if they understood the visuals and music and how they work together. The angels saving the soul from damnation at the end is FIRE
@@MichaelNaydeck Personally, I value musicality over perfect technique. Even though Rouse's music book might be slightly easier, I feel like they play it better than Vandegrift and have better tone despite being a much smaller band. The soloists and clarity throughout Rouse's show are just top-notch. Tough to judge for sure, Vandegrift definitely has a slight edge visually though.
holy crap, closer is so good
THATS MEEEE!!!! saxophone FTW! also, thank you for uploading this. Our band directors didn't show us the finals run lol
is rouse going to 6A state this year?
No, Rouse is a 5A school
next year
Is the music at 1 minute the theme from The White Lotus season 2?
Yes it is the opening theme of the show.
@postal8228 thats so cool!!

Agreed- still trying to figure out how there was a 2 point difference- both were great shows but still unsure how the judging happened
