Just been listening to the Extreme albums again and came across nuno's other projects. Have to say this/polulation 1 is pretty good. Quite commercial but good ... shame they split up. Hope we get another Extreme album though!

Big fan of Nuno and his songwriting/arranging abilities. His style weaves throughout my like and my own music. I met him at one of the NAMM shows in Anaheim....nice guy, genuine....and humble. I like Dramagods but am so glad Extreme got back together. Finally got to see Extreme in concert last Summer in Anaheim House of Blues. He smoked it all night long. Bucket List: Extreme in concert. CHECK
@damanifastation They did get back together recently for a tour and new album, Saudades de Rock released in 2008. They did a live album in 2009/2010 called take us alive. Long live the Nuno!!!
The Washburn N5 & N6 were really versatile guitars, when it comes to the Nuno signature range. Such a shame, that their production ended, a long time ago.
@TwoPointsUp Then you haven't listened to their albums Freaky Styley and Blood Sugar Sex Magic. The songs you mentioned are not their best songs, but most popular ones. Most of their non-popular stuff is quite funky, especially on the older albums. like Flea said back in an interview in '91 "Our music is too funky to be played on white radio, but also too much rock to be played on black radio." Listen to songs like Give it Away, , Yertle the Turtle, If You Have to Ask, Funky Monks. funkinyoface
@TCELL24 - Well, it seems you have different taste in Rock than I do..Which is fine..I'm not sure what Flea was talking about-- they get played on "white radio" all the time, since the 90's, and MTV back then ( if we can even make the distinction..will how much hip-hop and rap are played on "white"/ mainstream stations? Those genres where invented by black musicians, like "the blues.."
