If you fancy more of the same in the future, come and try the Jersey swim run, beaches, cliff paths and some amazing sea swimming sections. And it won’t make Heather cry!
Lol, Mark is so proud of his littles plans! He's just pushing the boundaries of the GTN team a bit more every time! Hats off to Heather and James was letting themselves still be caught up in those epic rolls! 😂 Best is, it's not part of an event ... all self prepared, and all. Well done guys. Epic!
I'm without words. Holy moly! I'm a casual runner and occasional cyclist, never swim and I can only imagine from a safe distance how hard this challenge must have been. Huge respect to everyone of you. Stunning 😮
@@gtn honestly, anything 😊 I'm based in Australia so I'm super unfamiliar with UK events - but it's always so uplifting watching you guys work together through events and challenges, it's always so so inspiring.
I’m speechless. So much respect to the team for not quitting and sticking to it till the end. The life of content creators isn’t easy, you set the bar high!
My heart just ached for you guys at the end when they filmed Heather and James walking down those stairs after this insane day and challenge! I just finished my first 70.3 this weekend and my quads were so shattered I was duck walking up and down stairs at Half your speed that day... I can't imagine how your legs must have felt after 10 hours more of effort!!! Mark you were an amazing team leader congrats and Heather and James, you guys have the most amazing Athlete's mindset to have transcended the physical pain of the challenge and pushed on to finish! I've nothing but respect and gratitude for you champs!!!! Congrats!
Seriously. If you do such challenges on weekends, what's on your bucket list? Thanks for the tremendous effort you put in to motivate us (Heather, I hope you're warming up somewhere, because you seemed to be cooling down from the first steps). 🙂
What an epic! So glad the weather cleared later in the day, and we could see the full drama of the landscape you were swim/running over. Awesome effort by Heather, Mark and James.❤
Although something like this is beyond my capabilties, this was very inspiring to see. I’m very impressed by all three of you, although it was special to see Mark at the finish line looking no more exhausted than after a park run - if that. Anyway. If you ask me I’d like to see more content like this.
Wow that’s an impressive challenge, good job for not quitting. Given the conditions THAT’S really your biggest achievement; in warm sunshine that would still have been a monster 65k, but not half of what you endured. Very very inspiring display of iron grit and perseverance. Kudos to all three of you
You guys are on a tear with the great videos! Love seeing everyone's spontaneous reactions and personalities in these race vids. The beautiful scenery and gear/training tips and insights are just the icing on the cake!
I can't lie, I thought I was about to watch a few DNFs and almost feel bad for you again. But, you deserve the respect like nothing else your audience could give you. A truly monumental effort and for Heather who kept up with the guys was like a story-book of inspiration for even the fittest of women! Wow!
Absolute Heros. Keep thinking up these great challenges Mark. Well done Heather, James and Mark. I'm looking forward to the next one. I'm glad you did not quite.
You guys have to be more than only colleagues but really good friends to get through this tough adventure together! It's incredible what you're capable of! 😅
LOVE videos like this, super fun to watch, even though i kept feeling sorry for you guys throughout - that’s an insane challenge to conquer, incredible job!! you all are beasts, an honour to have you teach us through your videos. i hope you did get proper rest and recovered well after this. best channel. ❤
YESSSS THEOOO!!! I’m starting my triathlon journey too. A specific weekly training plan of what you do (ish) would be quality✌🏼 keep up the work bro, smashing it!!!
This was fun to watch especially with all 3 of you doing this challenge together. Did you all get major blisters with hiking with wet shoes? That was the first thing I thought of! Love your challenges and content! Huge fan from Hawaii.
Bloody hell u guys are absolutely insane - to put urself through that and not even get to run / crawl over a ‘finish line’ with people cheering you on and no medal …..crikey, hardcore or what !! Your all incredible massive massive congratulations and kudos to you all 💪💪💪🙌🙌
Love these videos!!! Is like being there with y’all doing epic adventures! Thanks for taking us along 🥳🥳. Weather looked horrible but somehow y’all made it look so much fun.
Just came back from a week-long holiday in Keswick and recognize a few spots. It was not warm or dry in the last few weeks so you certainly suffered sufficiently! Bravo
Omg, i mean it in the best way possible but that looked absolutely miserable 😂 amazing how you supported each other and were able to pull through - Kudos, great job by everyone 🙌🏻
Amazing 👏 I'm telling you, this crew must be made of iron on the inside. Yes, this is INSPIRING. Thank you all, especially the presenters. I'm sure you can't tell how hard it was just by watching but this was beautifully scripted, presented and edited, and the emotions are all there. Special cheers to Heather, we can tell there was heaps of mind over matter on this one. I'd love to watch a shorter video where Mark, Heather and James each go over the mental states they go through in a 17+hour challenge (!), feel a bit broken, and still deliver.
Hope you're well james, I've been thinking of you since you mentioned your mental health hasn't been great, sending huge virtual support to you on that. Hang in their buddy, life with young kids can be brutal 🤗 xx
I’ve rarely watched a UA-cam video and though “Hell Yeah!” As much as this one. However, with neither kit, nor indeed any swim-run experience, I’m not convinced this should be my opening gambit. But one day…
This looks absolutely nuts!... You guys have the best job that I would never like to have... LOL. Still, I'd love to try that route someday... Keep up the great content GTN!
This is a video where you wish you could give multiple likes as one seems simply inadequate. Surely I can go and run my 10k today. One day I do hope to visit the Lake District. Thank you for showing the power of doing hard things.
Gosh the opportunities are vast :) how about a triathlon relay across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall :) If you do, I’ll bake pastys to award yall at the finish in Kernow
The weather reminded me of a school trip we did up skiddaw years ago. It was utterly miserable then too. I remember a teacher carrying someone as he was suffering from cramp.
Big thumbs up to you guys that is brutal. Loved to see you near the place I call home, was brought up in those hills, weather pretty normal. I think you should have another trip up here with a fell runner.
You guys are rock stars! I can't believe that weather. From San Diego that isn't my bag fer sure! I'm not surprised the quads would be shot but I'm surprised no complaints of trench foot! Pruny much?
What sort of challenge would you like to see us try next? 👀
How about who can find the nicest piece of cake :P. This challange looked cruel, so treat yourself...before the next challange comes around😉.
@@adanos3 Haha we can settle for that 😂

Yes to finding the nicest piece of cake challenge 😊 I also love your challenges using gear from the 1980s, eBay, and such!

Mark really benefitted from Snowden earlier in the year, really showed 😎
Mark was in his happy place during this challenge, mountains, rain and epic swims... It couldn't be more Mark! 😂
