As for layers of undies, they'll bunch up with the spandex and show a bunch of visible lines, which you don't want either.
I've gotten the same suit and although I don't have problems with the hands, feet, and colors, I have the same issues with the hole in the back, the neck, and the bottom part of the mask.

I got the XL and it fit me well because I’m 6’4” and slim so it fit well. I thought the suit was great! The hole in the back is a little weird though
