Very nice site. I recently purchased a 2016 Dodge Charger 5.7 hemi V8 police interceptor off this site with 86,000 miles for $7,500. I had to pick up the vehicle in another state and do a little interior and minor body work to it, but it was certainly well worth it.
You can’t beat it
That’s exactly what I wanna get😂
What state was that in? Most cars that I find say only law enforcement can bid on the vehicles. Thanks!
Do you have to have a dealer license to enter in the auctions ?
@@denisgomezdevarona1415I do not
I just recently bought a 2013 retired charger and the police department only took the lightbar off and the siren and all the other lights work, kinda crazy, has 135,000 miles got it for 3100$’s gonna be fun to show up at my friends party
Enjoy man, just keep up on the maintenance as it definitely been beat on.
Awesome man! Appreciate the content. Came to your channel for LED headlight switch on my Titan and found a cheap car dealer.👍
Thanks man, always trying to make some good content for everyone!
Do you need some sort of license inorder to buy the vehicle from a auction
Hi great video. Do I need a membership to join? What if it’s out of state how much to ship it? And how I find the amount of $ they want to sell the car for? Is their like a premium they need to sell car? Thnkx!!
Awesome vid and tips Thank you,
Hello,i just won an auction by mistake, coz I supposed to bid for $2,020 thats my margin for that car,and i put $20,020 and thats auto bid, now I won that auction for $3,050 and I can’t afford to pay as of now, what happen to me if I can’t pay, is the seller going to sue me for placing a bid and not paying it?
hey this is a great video keep going
THANK YOU this website is amazing
Just trying to share a great resource!
You should’ve censored your ZIP Code
As a foreigner could I buy a car in one of those auctions?
Do I need a action license
Nope
You still recommend this website in 2024?
Any reason there isn't any listings whatsoever in Pennsylvania?
It’s up to your local governments if they want to use the site or not. Try looking in a near by state.
@@minikyle5748 hey man im back a year later and i got money saved up bro. i have $6000 to spend on a retired police car and i was thinking the taurus sedan interceptor since its a lot cheaper than the explorers but better than the vics in my opinion. I checked govdeals in PA and there is not a single listing for cars so what else do you recommend? If I buy from another state its probably going to cost a lot of money to get it shipped or id have to get it myself. Do you think I can get a decent ford taurus interceptor for around $6000? Ya know, one that doesnt have 200k+ miles on it
@@-neuro From what I heard the Taurus’s were kinda headaches after police use. I’d personally try to find a good deal on a Chevy Caprice.
@@-neuro I stuck with a dodge charger for my retired police vehicle
Are used police crown Vics reliable ? Are they prone to breaking down
No, Crown Vic’s are your best bet on buying retired police cars. Dodge Chargers (especially earlier ones) are prone to lifter roller failure, which results in engine damage overtime. Newer ones are usually fine though. Ford Explorers and Tauruses are generally reliable, BUT they do have one serious design flaw. The water pump is driven by the timing chain inside the engine. If the water pump fails, it will cause coolant to mix in your engine oil, and guess what? Goodbye engine. Chevy Caprice and Impala’s are generally reliable, just weaker transmissions. The 3.5 engines are known to have timing chain issues, but the ones in the cop cars seem to have less problems for some reason. Guess they made them stronger. Same story with a Tahoe. Good engines, just weaker transmissions. The Crown Vic was one of the best and easiest car to have, didn’t cost an arm and a leg to fix, and never gave up. That’s why a lot of cops were pissed when their Crown Vic was replaced. They lost the reliability, and all of the cargo space.
What about lambos
Probably in Germany
@@minikyle5748 ... germany?? What??
@@LamboDEB1 They got crazy cop cars in Europe
Cool
I went to the website. Every single thing there is a insane rip off.
Ya I think covid took a toll on them. Haven’t seen any good deals in a year.
It’s finally starting to go down now. Just picked up a pretty nice 2011 Crown Vic for $800 after tax. Only thing wrong with it was the transmission fluid was low after it was serviced, and the thermostat was bad. Drove it out of the lot, and went to AutoZone down the street. Fixed everything in that parking lot in under 2 hours. I basically have a $900 car that’s a runner and a driver, and dependable. That’s extremely hard to beat. The mileage is a bit high, 178k miles. But panthers are known to easily go 300k miles with basic maintenance.
@@Joshtheweatherman not really. 11 crown vic with 300k miles can be bought on FB marketplace for around the same price
@@bradforester3635 Yeah. But 178k miles for $800 is not bad. I would be more worried about buying something with 300k miles, unless it’s had transmission work done to it. Those usually don’t make it past 300k if it’s a cop car. But with auctions in general, you just have to wait for the right one to come. Some cars are great deals, some aren’t. That’s how it’s always been. It’s best to check out the car, before you bid on it.
Ford raptor is the best cheapest pickup 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I want that to be my next truck!
