Thanks! Really was a fun adventure, can’t wait for some more! I use Adobe Premiere for editing but this was the first time trying out After Effects for the graphics. I used some great UA-cam tutorials on tracking text to objects - was a bit clunky at first but slowly got the hang of things!
Fantastic...keep putting excellent videos. Kindly provide some guidance about how you plan, study the weather, topology before you take cross country flight, it will help new pilots to take such flights...thanks...happy flying.
Thanks! I spend quite a bit of time looking at tracklogs on XContext and Google Earth to work out possible routes and how high I think I need to be for certain transitions. This works especially well in popular flying areas like Annecy. Weather is always a tricky one to understand and get right, something that has helped me is to look at forecasts and then compare them with what actually happens on the day to get a feel for them. You can do this even when you don’t fly 😁
Super sweet, and a nice video with that! I need to give it a go, next time I'm around, that bivvy area looks good! A quick note for people watching : It doesn't matter when the Doussard LZ is empty like here, but Charlie landed in the HG LZ, which can be a problem if the LZ is crowded. That's it :)
I’m actually just using the built in mic for the GoPro Max and then doing some minor audio enhancements in Adobe Audition during the edit. There’s a mic on my jacket in the video but that’s connect to my radio
Enjoyed that Luke, nicely put together film!
Thanks Tim! Have learnt a lot from watching yours 😁
Cant believe we made it up the roc, touch and go!
Nicely done video..and fun adventure! In what software are you adding the animated lines and peak names (at 0:22 ) ?

Can't really get much better than this 😍. Perfect edit too, just amazing.
Thanks dude! Hope we get to fly more together in 2024!

Lovely flight - looks like you have solved the problem of flying at Annecy without the crowds!
Haha yes we did seem to get quite lucky. To be honest as soon as you move away from Forclaz or the Dents de Lanfon you tend to find a bit of space :)

You should’ve seen my other landing 😂
@@furiousbadgerchalk Ahaha, where's the blooper reel?
Great point on the landing! Super important when the landing area is busy. Glad you liked the video and hope it inspires you to get out there!
Wow Wow WOW!! Such great memories, epic video bud! We MUST do more of this soon!!!!
Just the beginning!
👋🏻
