Punta Molentis Villasimius 4K Sardinia CA

ust before reaching the beaches of Costa Rei, we find the beautiful beach of Punta Molentis, part of the municipality of Villasimius and the Marine Protected Area of ​​Capo Carbonara.
Punta Molentis beach has an arched shape and consists of very fine white sand, with soft pink streaks in the water's edge. On the left side is enclosed by a small promontory where the sand breaks off to make room for the cliff, while on the right side a heap of rocks are the other end of the beach. The crystal clear sea presents a beautiful color that varies from light emerald green, to turquoise, to blue. The seabed is low and has a sandy texture, with the presence of some boulders at the two sides of the beach. It is quite sheltered from the wind, even if due to its particular shape, which makes it look like a sandy isthmus, in some places the shelter is scarce or not. The area of ​​Punta Molentis is surrounded by a dense and flourishing Mediterranean scrub.
On the promontory that overlooks the beach of Punta Molentis, once stood the Nuraghe of Punta Molentis of which today remains the remains and from where you can admire a wonderful view.
