I was trained by Matt Dimel in 1988-90 I won teeenage nationals first year. It was after his injury and John inter hired him to train him and I met him and my parents paid him to train me he was an everyday part of my life for couple years he was in wheelchair when I met him and by end of it he was lifting again.
That’s awesome. How was he as a coach? What was your relationship like? What was your opinion of him at the time and how has it changed with time and age (if it has)?
One of my friends in my younger drinking days was 6'7" 400 lbs, saw it many times, for whatever reason SOMEONE always thinks its a good idea to pick a fight with the biggest guy in the bar, at the party etc etc. As if a fight finds you. Whether it's warranted or not. Never fails, if you've spent any time in bars you have seen it.
Absolutely. A lot of very stupid guys suddenly think they can conquer the world after a few drinks. And they always want to start with the biggest guy in the bar/party first. Every single time.
Well advise to watch westside vs world but here it goes Matt got out of prison and was about to turn it around , least his lifting. He found a stripper for a gf…bad move. She introduce him to hard drugs. She loaded an 8-ball and he took it. He OD’d and caused his heart to “explode”
