      @jessicaburdell7779 Рік тому +16

      That's pretty much exactly how I could tell, with my own case, whether the judge I had was going to be lenient or a stickler. The courtroom upon entering, had a relaxed type vibe and his tone was albeit a commanding type, presence wise, but still mild and at times a bit lightheaded/humorous. I got let off with simply an extended probation term for another two years to still work at the current railroad and position I have with them, while raising two, soon to be 3 young ones with my husband. I don't know all the details with this fella and his mental illness, but likely for me, as I informed them and my PD, it was still looked upon as absconding but my reason for leaving Maryland, at one point, was to flee from that of my abusive mother; years prior because of and up to now, I have been long struggling and hospitalized numerous times for PTSD. As long as he would've told his PO and his PD, along with the med records, they probably would've done him the same.

    TRAVERSE CITY - A man faces up to 15 years in prison after he was accused of having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy. The boy told authorities he and Bunt began exchanging text and Facebook messages in the summer of 2017. Bunt later met the boy in Traverse City where the pair had sex, documents state. And he had more charges and criminal acts after. The court system in America is just disgusting. Wow probation for grooming and child rape. I hope the horror stories of men in prison are true for this predator.😢

Additionally, what some people dont know is, when you attend boot camp, basic training, etc that gives college credits, some field in the military, upon completion of the school, give college credits which shortens the amount of time you spend in college to obtain your degree. Advance schools within your field give college credits.

I'll never forget the day they came by to have me sign the release of probation paperwork. knowing they were coming, I had my neighbor roll me up a joint. I signed both my set and theirs, then immediately pulled out the joint and lit it. Man, it felt so liberating. They laughed when I asked them if they wanted to hit it.

    The last time i was on probation , started during covid, they changed my probation officer to the next town over and didn't tell me . I called every day for weeks and no one got back to me so I just assumed I was on ultra low supervision probation . They lost track of me for more than a year before they figured it out and sent 3 cops over to see what was going on . They stormed in like they were raiding a trap house and found me cooking dinner and my son playing video games . They found a crushed beer can behind the washing machine that had been there a loooong time and tried to scare me that they were taking me to jail . Probation knew it was their failt for losing track of me so in the end they couldn't really do anything .

    Yo my Adult Probation had me report in person every other week, then once a month, then every other month. For 6 years straight.

    This is what happens when you're on probation. People say oh he went years without reporting he didn't get in any trouble he is working he's doing it everything except reporting. All they had to do was get a hold of that man. And now everything that he has taken years to work for is being taken away from him!

    This is generally the way people react these days to the supermarket being out of some favorite snacks: brittle and fragmented at the slightest hiccup. You could have bought them yesterday before the 3-day weekend began.

    Not turning yourself in is evading especially after a long period of time. I was going to turn myself in after graduation. To be successful you must be honest. Not good enough. Study in jail, earn trust and responsibility. Flush ✌️🤘🇦🇺

    honestly not as bad as i was expecting. Dude just cried and then muted himself. Im not sure what the rules are, i was expecting him to be was more rude or something. They actually seemed pretty sympathetic to him for someone that apparently broke the law.

    While I do sympathize with him, all he had to do was reach out to probation and do what they told him to do. Its kind of ridiculous that he had 2 years to do the right thing and he didnt.

    People if you're gonna break law be prepared. He said he has no license but he's in a vehicle. He shouldn't of contacted the court until he graduated and was ready for the worst case scenario.

    ok, I am NOT on the offender's side by any means, but wouldn't it just suck if you found out you were going to jail at 7pm. Your place, your pets, your life, all put on hold. That would really stink, however that dilemma could have been eliminated in this case.
