When I was a kid, my folks to us to California on vacation around the time of this show. We drove by Dean’s house and there were his kids shooting baskets in the driveway like any ordinary kids. That really amazed me. 😎😄
Shari Lewis was extraordinarily talented. Such a magnetic personality. When I was a kid, I couldn’t wait to watch her show on Saturday morning. She even taught me how to whistle! 😚

Maybe she missed her calling? She was wonderful! And Jack Jones… boring as usual. I kept waiting for him to sing “What beautiful New Yorker”…. LOL

They really had to dump those puppets. I did not realize Sid & Marty Croft were peddling that stuff so early. When you think about it, both the puppets and Shari ended up on Saturday morning kids TV 10 years later. Much better fit.

He always looked amazing for his age. And that charm, charisma and voice! Wow, what a man he was.
