The comedy IS the cringe! It's not that it was sooo incredible Hayes got confused about holding deals, it was the human element of Hayes getting pissed at Sean for continuing to go in on him w/ esther, rather than bail him out. Kudos to sean for recognizing that hayes actual rising anger and lame effort to retrieve his mistake was where the comedy was in this bit, so he kept taking the shots.
@@glitchfreak316 i agree normally, and understand the anti-comedy angle of HH. They regularly do bits feigning anger, or putting on an "i'm so over it" attitude, but imo this was a moment when it ceased being a bit for hayes.
@@bernard6255 there are definitely moments where its not a bit (sean being annoyed at hayes for not remembering a specific moment in the irish man) but hayes reading definitions off his phone word for word is definitely a bit. a human who was not doing a bit would try to disguise the fact they were reading definitions off their phone. maybe hayes was actually annoyed at some point during this, but by the point hes reading off his phone he has fully signed onto the bit
