    I am Native American/American Indian, by descent from the Federally Recognized Tribes in the United States. I am also of various *non-Indian* ancestry.
    I haven't had any ancestors in Lapland for some 400 years. . It pains me to hear the other Europeans claiming to be as Indigenous as you. It's a form of erasure. Some of them sound like they pray for the day of your demise so that they can be considered Europe's first people.
    And even worse, they call you as "White." As if there's no distinction between Indigenous fair skinned and White people.
