Peacock bass 101 on Jigs - feat. PaPaw’s Jigs

Step by step on how to fish for peacock bass with hair jigs. Normally In Flórida most anglers use jigs to catch peacock bass on beds. On this video
I’m teaching you on how to properly use/work your jogs while targeting peacock bass. This jig was designed by me and made by Papaw’s jigs.
I called this one the “ATT Mayan jig” , a perfect imitation of our #1 bait fish, the Invasive Mayan cichlid.

Did you use a 5ft 8in rod like the description says? I see it’s the perigree 2 from last king. I’m trying to decide between that one or the cixus for my baitcaster. I already use a crixus rod from kastking for my spinning setup.

E aí mano. Jah pesquei muito lá no lago da crystal lake. Cara jig não funciona nesse ponto, vc teria que usar plug de superfície, ou então isca soft anti enrosco. Tem muito bass e snakehead nesse lago.
