Uranium Suite describes the town and group opinions, while Fall Fair Suite shows some more personal feelings. Jane Doe is usually not introduced (other than in Karnak's Dream of Life) until after both. In the album the introduction (Jane Doe's Entrance) is its own song.
The Amazing Karnak (the fortune-telling machine) is a person in a costume ! Though I think for some productions he is a puppet

Personally, I find it quite horrifying for a person to be stuck in costume for approximately 1 hour without have no other movement than head movements
