Being called yuri seems to be an enormous boost of strength. Both him and yuri chechi from Italy both shares the same name, both nicknamed lord of the rings and both champions of the world (and in case of chechi multiple times also). Talking about chances lol

These gymnast rings guys are extremely strong and powerfull! I worked up north in gold mining in B.C. with a guy named Sloan and he had done rings for few years and I've never met a strong guy like this. He shredded down a way bigger bully guy in arm wrestling and I witnessed that event and was totally blown away....I never forgot that machine ...
@Joshua De Chavez I would say all the really good ones are small size. Bigger size is a disadvantage in gymnastics...so it's understandable a country will pick the ones with smaller physics.
His muscles aren't for aesthetics, but pure functionality in mastery of his body weight and control of momentum. This is what you get when you're training to control physics.

Can you do with Kohei Uchimura (best all rounder this era) and Epke Zonderland (horizontal bar specialist)? I watch their performance on horizontal bar and that is crazy, beautiful form vs high speed swing.
Usually the best rings contenders are seasoned older men, and it would take incredible genetics and human enhancement to even get to this level within the first 30 years of life. Looks like fun.
I thought I was a bad ass doing a one armed push up, pistol squats and a dragon flag... this blows a mere mortal like me out of the water... truly epic.

Few things in my life have been so humbling as was my switch from bodybuilding to calisthenics (thank you, 2019)

Even as a calisthenics athlete, he has some pretty good calves with definition and some volume. He has my total respect.
Calisthenics is what street guys do. This guy is a professional ring gymnast. It's like 10 tiers higher.
