I have created the account at scratch.mit.edu and I am trying to create this program there, but I am not able to find the info part of the sprite created and not able to fix the rotation style shown at 2:25.

Umm... when I tried to make this, the game over message pops up when the ball hits the paddle. AND the paddle will only go to x: 130 y: -140 when I tell it to go to a different x and y. PLZ PLZ PLZ help me someone!!!
i have noticed of what accidentally you forgot to check the your GAME OVER for this with mine because my blocks show over the GAME OVER my be if you could do a remake but adding a part how maybe you can make the text show over the block if that's possible? sorry for the inconvenience
I have did as u said checked many times but my paddle is moving little bit up and down when I'm moving the pointer sideways u know looking like as it is hang plz give a fix ur doing on screen cast but I'm doing on scratch which is installed on my windows 8.1 does variables make mistakes
Thank you so much for the tutorial!! I think there is a big problem with the website. The code where the bounce angle of the ball is calculated (point in direction 180 - direction). The code executes the 180 angle before doing the calculation, thus the ball glides on the paddle. Sometimes it works properly sometimes the ball starts gliding.

Good tutorial, but if I were you, I'd use coloning instead of copying all of the blocks.
Very nice example. Was glad to see the use of broadcast (pub/sub). Teaching my daughter programming so this cleans up the code a good bit.

When i tried to make this project, the ball rolled over the paddle😭

and you cant move anything until you dlete it

Its maybe Because you didn't center it
whenever my ball hits the paddle it simply bounces on the paddle and then hits above or below the paddle
