If you compare her view counts with people like Azki (40k views in 1 week for original), and RBC (60k views in 1 week), then you will see that she's still rather fortunate compared to many members.
main issue is that original songs don't get recommended often... I'm subbed to Watame and her original songs don't appear on my youtube feed... I only find them when I see the description of her stream (or search for them in her channel directly)
The thing is UA-cam Algorithum is not pushing her videos out more than the other Hololive members. I guess it's more to how name the titles of her songs. I get more recommendations from those titles that have the word: Cover as well as those with hashtags. For Watame-chan's songs, I had to search for myself to get it.

UA-cam music had shown me that last year I’ve been on the top 1% Watame listeners, and this song is easily one of my favorites of all time, with over 200 repeats by me, this whole song served as a huge inspiration fuel for me to write my first fanfic and I’m infinitely grateful to Watame and her godlike voice for it. The lyrics are similar to Cloudy Sheep, and are all about the same determination and effort that Watame is putting into her dreams. You can feel every bit of it! Everyone is gonna be tuning into the karaoke streams hoping to hear what this sounds like live, I'm sure! And I know at 2:00 it's an epic transition, but it definitely at first looked very yabai. Like "What the heck did that bird eat?!"
