QUEST for Every Diamond in the Game: Pheasant & Bobcat Ep.3 - Call of the Wild

- Recently I have challenged myself to harvest EVERY DIAMOND in the GAME and when I started, I needed 18 Diamonds. Since then, I have managed to get the Green-Winged Teal, a Diamond Bobwhite Quail and a Mela Blue Pheasant! Rares we find are just a bonus!!! But in today's video, we managed to find 2 more crazy rares while hunting Bobcats as well as one of the hardest diamonds in the game - a Diamond Pheasant! I am ELATED!!!

After all the time you've spent in this game, you still squeal like a shoolgirl when you get a diamond, I love it.
I got a rare bobcat when they were uncommon and it amazed me that they were not always rare. I think they’re one of if not the coolest looking rares in the game, congrats 🎉
When did they change it to rare?
The blue bobcats look so good! One of my favorite rare fur variations on any animal for sure. I’d have to say the hardest diamond for me is the red fox. I’d say the bobwhite quail too, but I’ve hunted red foxes a whole lot more and still haven’t had success. It’ll feel so nice to finally get one when I do though!

Just a random question I have all map dlc but three, a dog, and zarza 308. Very new to this game still tho started last week any good maps for beginning
There’s two maps that are best for diamond, silver ridge peaks and savanna

I know, what's up with animals freezing while fleeing? On Savanah I can walk 30m up to lion, shoot it and it just stands there stuck on the side of the water until it bleeds out.

Question. When I follow a blood trail only for it to come to an end is that a game glitch or an I missing something? Also in options I turned the color of the animal im tracking to yellow. Or I think I did? So no matter what if I see yellow I just follow until I find it? If so I've traveled like 500m from the last blood drop without anymore blood drops just tracks. Please help me if you can.
If it was a non-vital hit and the bleed rate is very low, then the animal likely is still alive.

like yes they are because you got a bad hit and they most likely won’t die sadley
@@Hunting-kid so when the blood trail ends i see more tracks of the same color. if i follow them forever will i finally find the animal rather alive or dead? Ive followed tracks for 400?500m and gave up.
@@mikieson if I mess up a shot and I know the animal didn't die, I just leave it. Unless you luck into the animal coming back to a feed/drink/rest zone, you'll end up tracking it, and likely continuously spooking the thing. If the animal still hasn't died, and you're still in their Zone time, you might go to another part of the map, then end the Zone time back to where you know the animal goes, to see if it has come back. If you leave an animal injured, but not dead on the map, when you load the game back up, that animal will be back to full health. I did that with a 9 Legendary that I messed up on, when I realized the animal wasn't going to die, I just quit the game and reloaded the map. Came back to the zone and shot it.. it trolled though, it was .02 off Diamond.
Sadly I have messed up a shot on a guaranteed diamond mexican bobcat. I was even more upset when I reolized it was an initial spawn. Also the same week that happened I got trolled by a lvl 5 Bighorn Sheep. :(
I’ve shot a level 4 pronghorn on MP and made Diamond at 98.25
The pheasant was guaranteed diamond
Yesterday I Shot a piebald moose and a level 1 moose and Diamond wild boar and Diamond fallow deer

I had a level 4 piebald diamond pronghorn.
My hardest diamonds are a Grizzly because I only had a wooden bow and he was charging me and a legendary cape buffalo that I shot from 400 meters.

Got my fist Canadian Goose Diamond in the first 12 hours of the game. Getting burnt out already. Don’t know how you you stuck with this game for so long. Trying to have your energy for this game is not so good. Would be nice if the dog retrieved my birds. Damn dog doesn’t smell the bird when I’m standing right next to downed bird. Kind of an overlooked aspect if you ask me.
The poopy part of the game is opening zones. Its not fun. Couple weeks ago I finished a Red Deer Great One grind. There were days when I was like wtf am I doing. Same thing OVER and OVER. But I got the Great One. Gonna grab every Diamond on TE and go Great one Grind a Whitetail I think.
