The direction of the fault cannot be calculated on the basis of current alone since it is a sinusoidal wave. We need a polarizing quantity like phase voltage or sequence voltage and see the angle between the current and voltage to determine the direction of fault. CT polarity is not sufficient
Ultimate video, sir. You are genuinely doing great work to educate us free of cost. Lot of people having great knowledge but they don't think to deliver free of cost.. solute sir..
Sir, while setting the relay we usually tell it where the star point is formed. Why do we have to specify that setting? Doesn't it automatically adjusts its perspective of sensing current so that it shouldn't matter where we have formed the star point?
Thank you very much sir for sharing your experience and knowledge with us in such a great manner....I have one question if star point is reversed and current enter first from neutral side the it will go in all phase instead of R phase as mentioned then relay how will decide that fault in which phase
Very nice explain and very informative video's keep it up. But my one doubt about why Internal relay coil don't pick up when ct current enters through star neutral point and also how the same coil pick up when CT current enter through phase end... Please clear my confusion/doubt. Thank you very much.
Good explanation. Also plz mention the importance of pole discrepancy relay and it's setting. This is a basic video but mention Co ordination with other end cb auto reclosing.
Sir in a reverse fault which relay sence.. Is it a non directional fault I try to say forward fault/directional fault And reverse fault/non Directional fault is it right sir
Sir Your videos are very nice and imparting good knowledge to viewers. These are more enrich than some slides. One more thing sir your voice is similar to Javed Akhtar sir…
Nice explanation sir... In next video pls explain how a relay summation or subtraction the tie bay & line bay current for metering or protection purpose...
Thank you for your feedback.... I will explain this topic next week.... Tomorrow, I will upload the part-2 of CT Polarity.... The focus will be on application example with Differential Protection Relay.
Sir, If we make CT star point towards the protected object, then why we go for using voltage (CVT/PT) reference for ensuring direction as forward or reverse. i.e for polarisation.
Your are very great teacher sir 🎉
Thanks and welcome
Very good. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Awesome explanation sir 👏 👍 👌...
Thanks sir ...very good video..
Well explained, this doubt finally got cleared after 2 years. Thanks you very much.
Very great explanation
Well explained sir
Bahut accha samjhaya sir apne 🎉
Super explanation sir👍👍
Well explained ......👌
Thank you for your valuable feedback. Stay tuned for more such videos.
Thank you sir 🙏
Good
Well done pankaj ji...you have explained the concepts very simply... Actually you know where the listeners may be having doubts ..........Keep posting
Thank you sir
Thank you sir. Watching your videos is the best use of internet for me.
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
So good sir n very simple explanation thank you sir

Great sir,sir plz make a video in rotor earth fault scheme based on injection module
Thank you very much sir for sharing your experience and knowledge with us in such a great manner....I have one question if star point is reversed and current enter first from neutral side the it will go in all phase instead of R phase as mentioned then relay how will decide that fault in which phase

Sir, how can we analyse while running condition , if we formed the CT star point at the opposite side of the object
Good explanation. Also plz mention the importance of pole discrepancy relay and it's setting.
This is a basic video but mention Co ordination with other end cb auto reclosing.
Sure. I will explain this in upcoming video.
Plz share the link this concept in case of transformer. Great sir. 1 year child can understand. 🙏🙏🙏
Namaskaar
Really helpful to understand CT connections in the right way. I hope in the coming days you will post more videos about protection.
Thank you for your valuable feedback.... I will definitely upload videos on protection system... Stay tuned for more updates.
Sir any videos on DC ground
Not uploaded till now but I will surely upload some video on DCEF, problem and rectification
Sir in a reverse fault which relay sence..
Is it a non directional fault
I try to say forward fault/directional fault
And reverse fault/non Directional fault is it right sir
Sir relay m b newtral CT hota hai na sir please explain with the newtral CT of current direction
Sir, What is the purpose of CT star point earthing? Kindly explain. Thanks.
Sir , please give link this second session link
