"Are you classified as human?" "Negative, I am a meat popsicle." Fun Fact: The wonder on Bruce Willis' face when the Diva (Maïwenn) sings is real. That was the first time he'd heard it and seen the actress in full make-up. Big Bada Boom Fact: The explosion in the Fhloston main hall was the largest indoor explosion ever filmed. The resulting fire almost went beyond control. It took twenty-five minutes to put out. Lost In Translation Fact: The "Divine Language" spoken by Leeloo, was invented by co-writer and director Luc Besson and further refined by Milla Jovovich, who had little trouble learning and developing it, as she was already fluent in four languages. The language had only four hundred words. He and Milla Jovovich held conversations, and wrote letters to each other in the language as practice. By the end of filming, they were able to have full conversations in this language. Bad Timing Fact: The hero, Korben Dallas (Bruce Willis), and the villain, Jean Baptiste Emanuel Zorg (Gray Oldman), never meet, nor do they communicate with each other in any way. They are aware of each other (Korben used to work for Zorg's company and Zorg knows that Korben won the contest) but they are unaware of the other's involvement in the main plot (getting the stones). The only time they appear in the same scene together is at the end when Korben flees towards Fhloston's hotel's hangar while Zorg is just returning from it. They pass but just miss one another putting them in the same shot together for just a few frames. Music Enthusiast Fact: Diva Plavalaguna (Maïwenn) sings the "Il dolce suono" aria from the opera, Lucia de Lammermoor. It is one of the most difficult arias because of its length, its soaring arpeggios, and the high F above high C. When composer Éric Serra showed soprano Inva Mula (who dubs the voice of the Diva) the sheet music for the Diva Dance, she reportedly smiled and relayed to him that some of the notes written were not humanly possible to achieve, because the human voice cannot change notes that fast. Hence, she performed the notes in isolation, one by one, as opposed to consecutively singing them all together, and they digitized the notes to fit the music. There are a few moments when you can hear the differences in the vocal tones of the Diva's voice.
Leeloo did speak English. When they got into their sleep pods, she said she was the 5th element and she would protect him. Corben commented that she spoke English now. She responded "i learn"

her white strap bikini was the actresses idea.
Wow! Brave choice! 😂
Chris Tucker is so annoying, but on repeat viewings you learn to just laugh, shake your head, and go with it. 😅

"I don't know if it's sad / scary" ... it is FRENCH ... and involves Jean-Paul Gaultier!
WEIRD + WEIRD COSTUMES!
The costumes were a little strange. 😂
Something went wrong with the audio this time, it was terrible.
Agreed, not sure what happened. Will be more careful in the future. - Toni 🤓
I first saw this when it was new, at 17, and Mila begging me for help would definitely have gotten me to drive stupidly. (there are like 4 actresses/models who hacked my puberty and would have had me doing whatever for them, and I still resent it decades later. not that I blame them)
😂 - Toni
Awesome reaction, can you please watch a movie called THE BIG YEAR.

Audio is rough. You two are too quiet and movie has too much gain. I’m sure you noticed already though. Still appreciate the effort/channel.
So sorry! Not sure what happened! We'll try to get it right next time!
@@popculturallychallenged That’s ok. Not a complaint. Just a fyi in case you didn’t know although I’m sure you knew before I did. It’s not an easy hobby. You’re doing great.
Why don't you react to Baahubali 1 and 2 we are waiting for your reaction ❤
We're hoping to at some point. 😃
