Make sure your VPN is turned off! I don't know if Tim Cook et al wants to eavesdrop in or something but restore and update failed until I turned off my VPN. Was screen sharing with an apple tech when they noticed my VPN icon and suggested I turn it off, as soon as I did both restore and update worked just fine.

way 1 works all you need to click one volume then release and press the other volume then release and hold the power button and wait then there would be a white screen that says upgrade your gonna go to the upgrade page then wait for the “second update” then its all updated with no problem🎉

@@ronwang1961 Actually yes! My iPhone was on vibrate mode or ringer mode and that was my problem I guess once I turn off vibrate mode and tried doing what this guy said I got it to go into recovery mode! I’m not sure if was just my phone but this worked for me
