Hello! I just found this video while researching on this topic. I'm new on my path to becoming a creative director in the music industry. I graduated from graphic design school in 2016 but don't have much corporate experience and have been working a lot freelance/independently. I don't have a bachelor/master either. Is it still possible to tread on this path? Thanks!
This was soooo helpful! This is exactly what I want to do after I graduate college. Thank you! I do have a question: as a creative director, how much are you able to get involved with the actual making of things? Like are you mostly managing others who are doing the art or do you get to participate in that yourself?
great q! at the beginning I was a 'one man band' and did everything. I still do that for smaller projects but for bigger ones I work with specialists :) as time goes there ends up less smaller projects and more bigger ones. hope that helps!
Thanksss
cool video, very helpful. thanks :)
