I would even proudly say, "See? No voice coming out when she forgot to sing, that's the proof of live vocal" for the second case. Have you ever listened to Chisa's and Juria's live vocals for their solo performances, anyway? If I Were A Boy, I Have Nothing, Hello, Hero, to name a few? There were flats, sharps, sometimes they sounded heavy, but they sounded raw and glorious. Their pitch corrected vocals that were uploaded on their channel (Peaches, Nobody Love, Dear Name, etc) were nowhere close to their raw vocals; I'd choose their raw vocals every single day. I'm sure it would be the same with the other girls, they would sound much better with their own authentic voices. Backtrack, especially if it's pitch corrected, does not give the best listening experience to me. Back seating their careers and choices? You sound like you don't trust that these girls can sing live by relying on their own vocal cords when they are not dancing.

i think their mics are just too quiet, and singing the song louder might mess up the relaxed vibe of the song. on stage for howling, the backtrack was loud, but their mics were also loud enough to hear them clearly + it's a louder song so they can be loud if they need to.
