I feel strongly that this game, w/o a doubt is the most mentally demanding fighting game there is rn given that its 3d. what i love the most is ur reaction speed has to be top notch to compete at a high level and you can be so creative with ur timing and spacing and the defensive capabilities u have are insane. the veterans of tenkaichi definitely understand this. there are soo many ways to outplay ppl with these tools that the skill gap is undoubtedly going to be crazy. what a time for dbz and the fighting game community🔥
The "hold gaurd during the cutscene" doesn't actually work. It only works for ults that hit instantly but anything with even a little travel time doesn't work
In case you aren’t aware If you vanish those super explosive ultimates you’d still get hit because when you vanish you go directly behind the person and not out of the aoe, so after imagine strike is the only way to avoid It in close range (least to my knowledge)
Lotus you're thinking too much about this. This is basically a party game, u cant think too much on it. On block, dont think about strings cuz most of the times that wont work. Just focus on vanishes and counters, LITERALLY WHENEVER U CAN. You'll see you'll do a lot better then. You're playing too defensive in a game where you're not supposed to block for more than 3 seconds. Legit watch every rhyme or seereax video, they're not pressing block for more than u can say "sparking zero"

if your quick enough you can combo 2 attacks in sparking mode ahaha i make people rage quit this way. You hit them with your second blast attack what most of the time is a melee attack and after that do your ultimate instantly. 30K damage most of the time.
