I can honestly say that I used neofetch for its information yesterday and today. "time neofetch" is also useful in that it shows me the difference in slowdown between Hyprland and Plasma. I dont know why neofetch takes double the time to complete on Plasma, but its good to have as a starting point.
A easy solution to the image disappearing when alt+tabing, is to use: image_loop="on" in the config.conf. Is a solution that i use and it worked for me!

No dependencies, use your favorite font. But if you want icons it will require a nerd font, which I have a video on if you're interested
