While there are brighter options than the OEM fog/ driving lights, they do very well with adding additional light with the low beams. Keep in mind that they do shut off when the high beams are activated.
The bumper cover can be removed in about 10 minutes, including renovation the wheels to get to the two bolts on each side. You should be able to do it without breaking any of the clips.
Hi, I bought everything you bought and will be doing my fog lights soon once I get my lamps. I have two questions for you. What plug did you use to connect the fog lights to power and the second question what fuse did you use in the box under the hood to pick off Power? Thank you
Thanks for watching. Assuming you have the same year and model as mine, the factory fog lights will plug into the bumper harness since the connectors are there but I did have to cut the wires from the harness to use them. The fuse I used under the hood is number 24. That is the fuse for the 12v outlet next to the gear selector, it is only powered with the key on. I have, since doing this video, redone the wiring, added the correct wires into the factory harness and activated them correctly with an aftermarket program. There is a video on this as well.
I have one more question. I have everything I need, the screws to screw the lights in the lights in the grill that supports the fog light and sensor. My question is what does the fog light screw to ? You reference a bezel but is that the grill plate? maybe I’m asking this question prematurely, once I get the nose off I will see a bracket there, that is currently in use. Referencing the bracket the fog lights screw to in 1600 time on your video.
@@DIYEVERYTHING totally understand, I have the exact same year and model. It is a 2019 Volvo S60 T6 all-wheel-drive. I believe the bezel or bracket may in fact be there and currently assisting in holding in the sensor in place on the plastic grill cover . I will see once I get into it but again thanks for your helpful. Great videos.
The fog light surround? Yes, it can be done if you remove the wheel, pull back the plastic wheel well liner and reach in from that side. The clips are very tight. I found it easier to remove the bumper cover for video purposes.
You absolutely can! This video shows the light installation and an aftermarket switch. I have a newer video showing how I made the factory switch work and what wires you need to add and where. Hope this helps.
If you're referring to the factory harness, it's already in the bumper. The connectors are clipped into the bumper cover near the outer edges. However, there are no wires for it on the body harness, which I corrected in a later video. The harness I used to make the fog lights work until I could get all the factory pins sorted out is listed on the video description.
@@DIYEVERYTHING oki, thx. I bought my v90 without fog lights, but I want to install factory ones 🙂 I have the factory harness in the bumper, but missing the wires from the connector to the fusebox🤦
How bright are they after the install? Is it worth the effort? I'm overdriving my lights as it is now.

How long did it take to get the front bumper off, and back on? and what types of clips do I need to replace the ones I break? BTW Great Video!!!

Will this installation work on a 2024 S90 Recharge? Where are the parts obtained? Thanks
It can be done on any spa generation Volvo. Parts came from the dealership or ebay.
I have the same car, This truly helped! Thx a bunch for the great video!!
Thanks for the kind words.
Thanks a lot for a very informative manual. I have a different volvo model but still it was useful:)
Thanks

Again, aiming you have the same year and model, you need the factory fog light bezels because the fog lights attach to them.

Do you know if you can remove the headlamps without removing the bumper? I have a headlamp malfunction.
You cannot, there are mounting brackets for the headlight that are behind the bumper.
any idea what part numbers for the lamps and the covers--so that the parking sensors will still work.
The parts may vary based on year and trim level. The best way to find what you need is at volvoparts.com or your local dealership parts department.
Can you remove the black trim plate without removing the bumper?
The fog light surround? Yes, it can be done if you remove the wheel, pull back the plastic wheel well liner and reach in from that side. The clips are very tight. I found it easier to remove the bumper cover for video purposes.
Very useful, thanks
You're welcome. I'm hoping to find the right pins on the CEM and make use of the factory switch soon.
How many lumens are each fog light you used?
These are the OEM lights. There was no rating written on them.
Do you have any idea if i can add-on into my 2019 S60 T8?
The lever in the car has a switch for it tho, but this model does not come with fog light.
You absolutely can! This video shows the light installation and an aftermarket switch. I have a newer video showing how I made the factory switch work and what wires you need to add and where. Hope this helps.
