Here in New Brunswick, Canada, I had the pleasure of making music with two of the three Northumbrian small-pipes players back in the late 1990s. Both of them are gone now to their eternal reward. I sometimes hoist a glass and shed a tear for loss of them. Your music took me back 30 years to snow laden wintry nights in Saint Andrews, New Brunswick, good strong beer, moose meat stew, home made bread, the lads playing pipe duets, and the sense that the world wasn't too shabby after all! Pipes and drones look differently. Are they different tunings? If that is the, which tunings are they?
The pipes play in F, though the tunes are written in G. The drones are concert F and C (which we call G and D!).
I thought music was supposed to make you happy ?
