For when you tried to sneak on an Orthrus the tip is they are blind to sensors, so 0% or 1000% heat, they won't see you, all they can see is a small cone in front of them, so to sneak up just come from the sides or from behind

Been moving my fleet carrier around to different systems to help the Anti Xeno Initiative. Elite has been very addicting for me lately. I do miss flying my 400i occasionally though 🤣
Hey Foxy, any way possible that you could teach me how to hunt the Orthrus like you do in this video. I am trying to learn but it is super hard solo and I don't really have a squad or any friends to join up with on Elite Dangerous. Love your bids brother. o7 Cammander
Thank you for asking. I was following my friends to do the hunting in the video, it is almost impossible for me to do it solo as well. But I learned you need to find Non-Human Signal 4, and then look for thargoid sensors, and wait...I forgot some of the things. But if you really want to hunt them for money (which the amount has been reduced a lot in the new update) you can always go to the active spire site, it is a lot easier to hunt
Cytoscrambler burst lasers are a great way to strip shields from interceptors.
After engineering, it's like Class 4 shield damage in a Class 1 size.
