Yep it seems we have one or two round here 🤣🤣 The indicator thing seems to make sense in my brain but it makes it hard switching between bikes. Many thanks for watching TAYM 🙂
Hi Mike, im looking at getting a GS soon within my price range (no more than 5k), im yet to test ride one yet but im already smitten by looks and appeal of the bike! I currently ride a 650 carb bandit, thanks!
Hi there, a very different bike to a Bandit but £5k should get you a really nice GS. I had a CBF1000 so I can tell you that the GS is a completely different beast. I would definitely try and get yourself an extended test ride. Good luck with your search.
@@Mitchstep for me it's a good way but it did take a bit of getting used to. Definitely not as smooth as an inline four and initially the single plate clutch and the gearbox felt like they were off a tractor. You definitely wouldn't describe the gearbox as snickety. You do have to take time to learn use the torque rather than just reving it to the moon and again you have to adapt to the gear change but once you do it is a joy to ride.
@@Grumpy-Goblin yeah I think I just need to take one out for an hour and see what I think! I do love an inline 4 and was debating getting a gsx1250 (bandit with a dress on) but the GS just has something different!! I have heard the bandit 1250 is a supremely underrated bike
@@Mitchstep I've had a few mates who have had big bandits and loved them. I will say I think if you want a bike that you can cover big miles In comfort then a GS is hard to beat. Definitely try one but also don't be immediately put off if you don't gel straight away.
Enjoyed that Mike. I can give up now that you're doing it. UA-cam aint big enough to have us both putting the world to rights. 😆great stuff mate.
Cheers mate I think you're safe enough buddy there's plenty of room for all our ramblings 😁
That’s an awful lot of tractors 😂😂 I found the indicator thing weird when I tested the Harleys, very strange😊 Nice ride out 😊
